GTKY: Any plans for Valentine's Day?

(I'm too tired from all the excitement last night to come up with one so I just copied the NB check-in)

How old is LO? Last check-in as a 5 month old.

How is breastfeeding going? Good, I wish she was a less distracted nurser though.

How are nights? Ugh. Everytime I think it's getting better, she regresses and we have to start all over.

Any teeth/signs of teething? No.

Questions/AW/Rant? Not this week.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine's Day? Not so far.

How old is LO? 5 months on Monday

How is breastfeeding going? Ok. The right side nipple pain is back a bit, but that's what happens when I fall back to sleep while nursing and don't make sure he's latched well.

How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Ok. I've had a few days now where he's drank more than I pumped by 0.5-1 oz. Yesterday I had a fantastic pumping day, just to get home and find out MH had given him a bottle not long before I got home so I ended up basically breaking even. Which is fine, but I was excited about the excess to cover any potential short days.

How are nights? Not too bad. We've settled into one MOTN wakeup between 12-4 depending on when he actually went down and stayed down for the night. Then he's usually up at 5, but I can generally sneak in another hour or so while he nurses in bed.

Any teeth/signs of teething? I don't think so.

Questions/AW/Rant? I'm hoping he slows back down a bit so I can keep up with him. My mom and MIL have told me a couple times to "don't worry about it, just give him a little formula". I'm on board with supplementing if it comes to it, but I'd really like to try to make it as long as possible on just BM. Doesn't sound like they're overfeeding him based on how they're telling me the days go, but he's consistently on the high end or over the 1-1.5oz per hour he's away from me, so somehow I need to figure out if he really needs that much or if they're just letting him drink it.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine's Day? Nope and that's ok with me. I've never been a fan of Valentine's Day. MH and I get each other cards, but that's been it since our first V-day together.

How old is LO? 3 months (14 weeks)

How is breastfeeding going? Good, still dealing with her minor lip-tie impacting her latch but we aren't going to correct it because it's not impacting growth and it's not painful for me (just annoying that she pops off).

How is pumping/work?

How are nights? She's a great sleeper so I can't complain. Nursing around 10, sleeps until 4 or 5 am to nurse, then back to sleep until 7:30ish.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine's Day? Nope. I'm helping at my kindergartener's class party. That's about the extent of our v-day excitement.

waitwhat - DS is normally a one-side eater too but I offer the 2nd side whenever he's looking for it.
