Morning! We are going to be getting ready in a little bit and then we are headed to the gym. H was still awake when I got home last night and requested we go today.

I have bags of celery in my fridge leftover from the party this weekend. I hate celery. I guess I will see if R likes it, but even if she does she won't eat much. Anybody want some celery?

Put some peanut butter on them and have ants on a log! Or make some soup!
Still nothing since Friday morning. :[ Yesterday he acted like he was going to latch, but then promptly just clenched down instead. Twice. Sometimes he wants to be held until he falls asleep and sometimes he just wants to be put down. He seems mad about the whole situation. Doesn't want to nurse, but isn't sure what else to do. My body doesn't do much with a pump and I feel like my supply is dropping. I'd be happy with just morning/night routine at this point, though.
He has a runny nose and I can see a tooth but it's not fully through yet. He didn't have this reaction with the other tooth in its pair, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I figure I'll keep offering/pumping for about a week and if he's still resisting, then I guess we'll close up shop. That makes me way sadder than I thought I'd be.
Thanks for asking. I hope your 3 year old is better behaved today

Have you tried giving him pain meds a half hour before you need to nurse him to see if that helped? Is he drinking from the sippy ok?
We are back into our routine. We did library today, and had a great time. A lot of mamas were there for some reason, all of which we have met at some point. So it was fun. Now hoping for a dual nap so I can get some stuff done... hoping.... praying....
rivers and roads, hugs. I can relate. When DD was 9 months and getting her second tooth, she decided to go on a nursing strike, then we closed up shop shortly after that. Every time I offered the boob, she would just clench down, then scream and throw herself away. It was super stressful. Hopefully X latches on again.
It's day 4 and I still have no voice. So I got H to call the doctor for me to be added onto C's 12 month check up tomorrow. I'm guessing I have laryngitis. H also had to call into my work for me since I had to work tonight. Every time I try to talk, it comes out as mostly a whisper with a few squeaks.
We had to take DD to the ENT today for a follow up appointment. Her ears are all clear now, and have been for at least 2 months so she does not need tubes.
Other than that, we are ordering pizza. And I picked up an ice cream cake from DQ for C's birthday. So we'll have a quiet little celebration with just the 4 of us today
Blah. Monday. DD is teething (I think) as she was up a couple times last night and had a little runny nose today. Some crankiness but not bad. Tonight I gave her Tylenol and put Vicks on her feet so I'm hoping that ties her over for the night. When I was putting the Tylenol in her mouth I *think* I saw a tooth close to the surface, that would be her third bottom tooth. So hopefully it's close! DS was kind of a butt today, he's just always all up in DD's face or hugging her which basically drags her down all the time and it drives me crazy. I'm kind of looking forward to going to work tomorrow.

trtlcrzy, thanks for the idea. We've been given him Motrin at night the past few nights and it hasn't made any difference in his MOTN wake ups, when the meds would still be in his body. He's drinking out of the cup okay. I'm pumping more than he's drinking in a day (or I was up until today at least, my supply is going), so I know he's not drinking as much as he has been.
I tried to keep it so he was only getting the milk when in a highchair to avoid a "This cup is awesome! Milk AND I don't have to stop playing? Sweet!" thought process, but then he wasn't having as many wet diapers as usual, so now I'm just trying to push it whenever he'll take it.
