I'm pumping. Such is my life. The babe has had a cough/ cold the last week. He's now getting the mucus up and spitting it out. Would you all take him to the doc? He's not having trouble breathing, seems happy when not coughing and he slept 7:30-5am last night. I know if I call the pedis office they will say to bring him in because they always say that. But then if it's just a cold they won't treat him with anything.

I guess if he seems ok I might wait it out a couple days. Maybe if he still sounds bad on Friday I'd go before the weekend at least.

I agree with this. I would just worry about it turning into an ear infection over the weekend. But I know you don't need me to tell you about ear infections.
Came in to work early for a call but I'm hoping to get home a little early to work on the tile while kids are at MIL's house. Where are all the bumps?!

AW PDQ. I couldn't get my shit together in time to send Christmas cards so I took the kids to the photography studio at liberty center and got Valentine's Day cards made at Walgreens. This might become my new thing. The end of the year is just too crazy, so family/friends are going to receive photo cards on random holidays when I have more time.
I also got an 8x10 that I'm going to put in a frame decorated by the kids for H. I might decide to keep the 8x10 for myself.

He doesn't have a fever and he's sleeping and eating normally and not refusing to suck so I would assume no ear infection. Who knows though.

lindsay it's a nice way to get inexpensive photos. DS is more and more like a boy than a baby everyday. This past weekend he looks at me and goes "put the eggs on fork, oKAY?!" I was just like, excuse me?

Tough night last night. DS woke around 3AM (I assume, I didn't look at the clock), and when I went in his room he told me he had pooped. So weird for this to happen MOTN. I changed him without turning on a single light, because I didn't want him or I to fully wake. I put him back down, but the damage was done. He wouldn't go back to sleep. I brought him to bed with me, and he just tossed and turned. I asked if he wanted to go back to his bed, he said yes, but still didn't sleep. At like 7:30AM DH brought him back into bed with me, and he finally fell asleep until 10AM. If I could drink coffee, I'd say send it all.
Im more worried about it being pneumonia or something that sounds normal to me but isn't. I feel like they would give an antibiotic to an adult with this URI but not a kid. Idk.

If it's been going on for a while I think you're right to be concerned. Our pedi once said that a cold shouldn't last more than about 4 days. They can catch 2 different colds back to back, but if it's consistently worse for more than 4 days with no signs of improvement, I would take him in before the weekend.
That's weird that your pedi said 4 days. My pedi said with C that we measure colds in adults in days but in weeks with babies.
This was just recently that she told us that, so I guess I don't know if it applies to babies the same as toddlers.
I'm going to take him in today so I'll ask her. It was a significant difference in C having RSV for weeks when he was an infant and this time when he just had it, it was 3 days of bad and gone in 7 days.

I think RSV is not like all viruses in the sense that it is way more severe in babies than older kids. But I really don't have much to compare to. The only thing Bub has had more than once is roseola, and it was about the same at 3 months as when he was a little older.
chrispy1122, I was going to comment on how big your DS has gotten as well! They're too cute.
Holy attitude from my DD today guys. Its nap time and I feel no shame that I had a glass of wine with my lunch. She has been so testy, stubborn, and whiny the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping it's just her teeth (she won't keep her hands out of her mouth and has been asking for medicine at bedtime), and she isn't going to be this way throughout her toddler years. She has exhausted me today.

Oh, and we will be moving into MILs on the 26th. It's all happening so fast! FX it works out well and we all get along for the 6-9 months we are there.

This month? Wow that is moving fast. And sorry for crazy toddler, I've been there many days than I would like.

Yeah. We wanna be out before the house goes on the market (mainly because the pets). So they are coming to paint and replace carpet the week of the 27, then that following week we should be on the market.
More shit about Rainbow daycare coming out- 6 centers put on suspension. They're pretty much a bout to shut them down.
Which centers? Off to google. I'm so glad we moved and are going to a different DC. N is doing so good-I swear she is learning so much I know they are little sponges. But this morning we were doing flash cards at breakfast. They had letters and a picture on them. Well we get to the N and she said 'that's me!" We did three other different letters and she named a classmates name for each, I was in shock! I'm sure they are working on it but still.
I enrolled N in a gymnastics class on Saturday's. I'm so excited for her, she has so much energy so I think it will be good for her and we have something to look forward too.
I think it's all nky. I haven't been able to read anything about the location he was at specifically though.
Yeah it said it was 6 nky locations.
The good thing is that his teacher for 7 months was awesome. However the floaters for lunch/ late day were not as good. I pulled him after only a month with a teacher I got a bad vibe from. I just hope nothing happened to my baby in that time.
