Dd did well last night but ds was up for at least three hours. At least mh attempted to take care of him. He still has a fever so per the doctor's instructions I have to take him into the lab for a blood draw tomorrow. But there's snow coming, even though it's currently 60 and sunny, and I'm worried they'll be closed tomorrow. Additionally I'm not sure I can emotionally handle holding my toddler down for a blood draw.
lakegirl what is with the toddlers? Mine has been up screaming numerous times at night and he's normally a great sleeper. I hear there's a 2 year sleep regression..... would be great timing if that's what we are running into here.
Pads are on the list of things for MH to pick up at the store today and I was having dreams about giving him very specific instructions on getting the right kind (always infinity.... aka the only acceptable choice). Today he wakes up and says jokingly "so I'm getting the store brand pads, right?" I asked if I was talking in my sleep or something and he said no, he just remembers the shit fit I threw when he bought the wrong kind with #1 😂😂. Funny that we were on the same wavelength about pads of all things.
Got a prescription strength corticosteroid. Please god let it help with this allergic reaction.
These lilypadz are saving me right now. Cannot wear a bra for the life of me.
I'm nursing B in the exam room now. The nurse said I could use the room as long as I wanted. I feel sorta bad since he's been on the boob for 20+ minutes, but I don't want to travel home with a half fed baby. Sorrynotsorry.
W's revision is smack dab in the middle of DS1's nap time so I'm gonna be heading over there solo more than likely. It will entice to get out with just me and him. Hoping that this makes an improvement in nursing.
lakegirl, I'm sorry DS still has a fever. Could you possibly get in today for the blood draw before the snow? Also, solidarity on the snow whiners. "ZOMGZ we are never going to have food again! Must buy out the ENTIRE store!"
We are having a good day for progress! C went back to sleep in her swaddle and co-sleeper after a long 3am feed. Our night stretches only lasted about 2 hours instead of our usual 3-4 with her on my chest but I'm calling it a win.
She cluster fed til my boobs seemed empty starting at 7am. I gave her an ounce of formula to supplement because she was still rooting after. Also a win because I didn't feel bad at all. Then she had a decent stretch of awake time that I introduced Sophie into along with a crinkly toy. She didn't care for the crinkly toy but she seemed to dig Sophie. I put her in her RNP and she kept herself happy for at least a half hr. Wins all around!
We are going to attempt our first outing alone just to the bank and maybe food store. I'm not out of the 2 week period yet but my incision doesn't bother me at all, I can sit up in bed unassisted and pick my feet up while sitting without thinking about it so we're good.

My good friend is coming over after 2pm to meet E. I'm also looking forward to some day time company. It beautiful out today I hope I can may be take E for a walk we will see we are supposed to get snow tomorrow. Meanwhile E has latched in a few days. No idea why all of a sudden.
Eta so sleepy I can't even correctly express myself E has not latched in several days.
@joybaby I'm so sorry your period is back, that really sucks! lakegirl good luck with the blood draw and the snow, I'm sorry the sicknessn is hanging on. @orangcrush I home you enjoyed your hot coffee! rinny sorry for the poor toddler sleep. Also pads are so important, I did send mh with a picture when he went for me. carrots enjoy the snuggles, groceries can wait. heybulldog56 I am quite jealous of your house cleaners! Enjoy!
@joybaby5, that sounds miserable. Hope you're feeling better soon.
LO has a pedi appointment to see appointment out reflux this morning. Of course after all the symptoms and being pretty miserable last week he's been doing better since I made the appointment. Then we're off to the BF support group. Not sure what this afternoon holds yet.
W's revision is smack dab in the middle of DS1's nap time so I'm gonna be heading over there solo more than likely. It will entice to get out with just me and him. Hoping that this makes an improvement in nursing.
Hope it goes smoothly tex. Both DS1 and DS2 improved so much after their posterior TT were released and there are lots ofoms at my support group who experienced the same. FX this will make all of the difference.

It has been super nice here since Monday and I... have not left the house. This morning, I forgot to ask DH to take the stroller out of his car. So, if we want to walk today, it'll be a Moby walk. Which is fine, but I kinda wanted to do a stroller walk so that I could kick it into "high" gear and slow-jog for a minute or two
I have the windows open it's so nice out. I'm having a bit of cabin fever. Ds and I left the house at least once every day before the baby. The only things stopping me are germ season and she's still too tiny and floppy for my k'tan or ergo insert. The weather is also tricking me in to spring cleaning. Or it's some weird PP nesting. Clean everything!
I also wanted to go to a breastfeeding group tomorrow but that's probably off the table now with the weather and potential doctors appointment.

judyblume14, I was contemplating a stroller walk too but... couch + lifetime movie... I'll probably force the whole family to go on a walk this afternoon though. It's just so nice out!
lakegirl, good call on opening the windows! I'm going to do that too. We need fresh air in this house.
We are at the pedi waiting for our last weight check before his 2 month appointment. Dd had a croup-like cough yesterday starting at nap time and now R woke up with a really snotty nose and sounds terrible. I guess it's a good thing we are at the doctor. I'm sure it's just a cold but I have never dealt with a sick baby, dd didn't get her first sick until 6 months.
We went to the bank, health food store to get stuff for lactation cookies, now at panera and then hopefully in and out at the super market. I'm feeling the spring fever today too and it feels so good to get out in our own. We're coming up on an hour and a half since her last feed so the clock is ticking til she wakes up!

I fed W around 8 this morning and decided that H needed to get up and take a turn watching the kids since he goes into work late today. I come to get him out of bed and guess what? He's already up, he's just watching his ipad. I may or may not have told him if he was already up he should've come to take care of the boys so I could get some real sleep before he needed to go to work. He claims he went out there once and everyone was sleeping so he went back to bed. I find this hard to believe since I barely slept between 6-8 but whatever.

We do not have nice weather! And we're supposed to get a bunch more snow, followed by freezing rain. I think I'll need to go get DS from preschool early, but no clue when. And trying to figure out when to run errands. Must also deep clean the kitchen today. And maybe the bathroom
But for now I'm pouring another cup of coffee and watching This Is Us.

MissDemeanor, we are actually (supposedly) getting snow tomorrow. I don't understand how it's possible since it's been 70 degrees the last two days. Also, let me know how DS likes the tool bench. We are thinking of getting DS1 a tool bench for his birthday. Or a play kitchen.
