We are supposed to get 11-14 inches tomorrow. Yuck. That means DDs daycare will be closed for sure. Not looking forward to being stuck inside with the 2 kids since DH will be out shoveling all the properties he manages. Boo.
judyblume14 , I was contemplating a stroller walk too but... couch + lifetime movie... I'll probably force the whole family to go on a walk this afternoon though. It's just so nice out!
lakegirl , good call on opening the windows! I'm going to do that too. We need fresh air in this house.
Welp. I'm still on the couch. We're having the kind of day where baby is either eating or crying. One more episode of Parenthood, and then I swear, I'm going to break outta here.
MissDemeanor, cleaning can wait. Enjoy your coffee!
I cannot even emphasize how much good getting out of the house did for my mental health today. I think I'm going to feed C now that we're home and then debate between nap and a walk in the stroller to the end of the street. Nap SHOULD win, but it's like almost 60 degrees out.

Can you walk then nap?
That fully depends on C. She gave me a nice long stretch of quiet to get out of the house. I'm not going to get greedy 😂😂
Wtf: mh! Our house is a wreck, I will give him that but he is being a jerk about it! And he is being so impatient and short with dd, dude she is 20 months old, cut it out. We just got both kids down for a nap and I told him he should nap because he is being such a crank, no he is going to go work in the yard since that's "his responsibility" as in the house is my responsibility and I'm slacking. Ahhhhhhh, sorry I've been keeping our children alive and trying to get the hang of 2. I'm sitting down to eat a quick lunch and then I will be cleaning until R wakes up. What sucks is I don't want to give into his rude behavior but I also do need to clean and was actually already planning to do so before he threw his fit.
im sorry meeggaannw, that sucks. i hate when mh pulls the "your job my job" card. we're a team, and last i checked, im the one waking up at 12, 3 and 7 am...
what is everyones go to for dry baby skin? C just started getting very dry on her ankles, no where else that i can tell. i have johnsons, but id like organic or natural if possible. i did get fractionated coconut oil the otber day, would this be a use for it?

pibblemom, My kid's skin is so dry, she's basically shedding. I want to say that we use coconut oil, or some hippy dippy organic shit. But we use johnson's pink baby lotion. It doesn't really work that well, so maybe we need to try the hippy dippy shit.
I can't stop eating these Dove chocolates. The caramel ones are amazing.
I have a bowl on my desk at work that I keep stocked with all the varieties of dove chocolate. The caramel ones are awesome. The dark chocolate peanut butter ones fueled my pregnancy.

tex hope it helps! With DS I needed to see the LC one last time to tweak positioning and latch because I had gotten into some bad habits out of desperation and it was still uncomfortable even after the tie clip
meeggaannw sorry the kids are sick. With baby all you can really do is saline spray, humidifier, and nose Freda also sorry your H is being a jerk. Standard responsibilities are shelved until at least six weeks PP imo.
vlagroupie I love Dove chocolate. Sad that their dark chocolate peppermint bark bites are out of season
I like the Aveeno lotion that comes in the baby gift set but I've only ever used it on myself. It's meant for the baby though. Moisturizes for quite a while.

I had an incision check this morning. It's still hypergranulating (forming the wrong scar tissue) so they want me back Friday but the infection itself is gone. Hopefully Friday is the last time.
Did some very light grocery shopping and I think lifting the bag gave me break through bleeding again. At this rate I'm never going to be able to lift DS (it's been three weeks).
Solo parenting tonight and not looking forward to it.
silvermelody, I think I'm gonna call her tomorrow to see if I can get an appointment for latch help now that it's done. Just to get some tips for getting him to open wider.
