Yes, I had the day off today and its been great - ALL of my laundry is washed and put up today- this never happens so I am enjoying it! DH had to work today though. We are COVERED in ice here. We were supposed to get snow...it was all ice. I keep seeing statuses on Facebook about trees and power lines falling so I am just hoping we keep power. We have gotten NO snow all year..now this.

I ran my kid hard on the playground today. Too hard, apparently, because he fell asleep in his stroller while I was makeup shopping afterward. We've set up camp at Panera so as not to squander the nap. Broccoli cheddar soup is going to use up all of my WW points today, but it's so tasty!
I had to work today, but my mom had a migraine, so I left early to get the kids. I am desperately hoping tomorrow is a snow day, because, well, I don't want to work.
I had to work. DH was supposed to work today, since it was a snow make-up day. Then his school closed after he was already there. There wasn't any snow or ice, just very cold temps and wind. Tonight we are supposed to get snow so they'll probably close again, which means they'll start adding days onto the end of the year since they've already used up spring break for snow make-up days

Newp. DH is working today. My office is open as well, but I don't work Monday's since I'm part time. Kiddo is fighting nap time hard today. I just want to lay in bed and read.
Here in Manitoba, it's Louis Reil day... Or traitors day... Or as we say "keeping it Reil" day. Basically, he was hung for being a traitor and is a very famous Metis. DH works shift work, so he's not home. But it sucks. DS a was out of bed over 10 times from 11pm to 3am. And DH sleeps downstairs because of his day shift and DD sleeps in our room so I had both kids to deal with. Alone. I am freaking beat. Thankfully, his daycare didn't turn me down for him going there today. If it had been any other type of night, he would have stayed home. But after last night, it was a big fat no way. Off you go kid.
On another note, I had two cops come to my door today. My dad is a retired cop, and DH is a paramedic. I thought something bad happened to him. It took me a while to stop shaking. Turns out they had the wrong address.
My H worked, I SAHM so nothing new, and my kids had school off. I just got back from taking my daughter to the ENT and we decided to remove her adenoids and tonsils, I am kind if nervous about it!!

sagen, good luck to your daughter. FWIW, I wish my parents had gotten my adenoids/tonsils removed as a kid. They had the option and decided not to. Now I have chronic tonsillitis and tonsil stones Adenoids are overrated.
Thanks @seadragon 2013. I am sorry you have tonsil issues. My H does too, he looked into getting them out but the recovery time made him decide against it. The fact that it is easier as a kid is part of why we decided to.
DH and I both worked today. This was one of those days I envied the fact that DH works from home, since I had to venture out in single-digit weather. I believe it was something like 3 degrees out when I left the morning.
I had a pretty productive day at work though! Although I'm pretty sure tonight I will be dreaming of special revenue funds.
No day off in NC. But school let out early because of ice. School is canceled for tomorrow already. My cousins (two in high school on my DS age) flew down from NY for there winter break, poor guys cause now there getting iced in here. So much for there vacation. They good news is my DD gets to spend some time with his cousin who he loves. And I have cake for after DD goes to bed

We both had to work today but due to an NC snowstorm (you know, 1 inch or so) - my office and daycare both closed at 3pm. Public schools are canceled tomorrow and daycare opening late (so far). I hate "snow" in the south. They do it totally wrong.

I was lucky enough to have my husband home today. And he got up early to do a bunch of things around the house. He started to patch some drywall, mounted a coat rack in the mud room, fixed the cabinet that pulls out for trash and recycling and installed a couple of new smoke detectors. Then he let me sleep in when the kiddo got tired of watching CG in bed with me.
Got to see my Mom and got some laundry done. No nap for the kiddo, but she's been really good.
Have tomorrow's dinner prepped and ready to go in the crock pot tomorrow.
DH had the day off, which was awesome. We had pedi appointments for both kids (DS' 2 year and DD's 2 month), then we went to Target and bought way too much stuff. My parents decided to come up last minute, so DH changed our plan from Valentine's dinner out with the kids to Valentine's lunch without them. We went to an Italian restaurant in downtown and it was sooooo good. Service was really slow because there were problems in the kitchen, so we got free dessert too. I nearly had to be rolled out of the restaurant. We walked around Pottery Barn until my mom texted that DD was ready to eat. DD had an explosive diaper on my dad, haha. After my parents left, we all went for a long walk, and now we are home for the evening. DD is sleeping in her swing, DH and DS are playing with new toys from DS' birthday, and I am waiting on laundry.
All in all, a pretty spectacular day.
ETA: My BIL invited us to dinner with him and MIL, but DH declined since we have had her at our house the last two Saturdays. Thank goodness.
DH still had classes, I think the only holiday they take off for is Christmas. I had both kids to myself for most of the day, which was kind of nice, as much as I've appreciated the help Ive had so far, I've been feeling like I'm missing DS1. This morning we were playing and he ran to give me a big hug with a great big smile - just what I needed!
The downside is I'm having a really tough time not overdoing this time around (even with help). I apparently just started bleeding more heavily tonight, I was cleaning up in the kitchen and grandma came in and looked at the chair I had just been sitting in as I sorted silverware. "What's this wet spot? It looks red." She sticks her finger in it. "umm, I think that must be from me..."

Both DH and I were scheduled for today, but daycare is closed (they use President's Day as a professional development day) so DH took a vacation day and stayed home with the kids. DD loves that - she's a Daddy's girl and it is fun for her when she gets a whole day with just him. They went to a play gym and sent me pictures so I could see what I was missing. Boo work. But DH did some laundry and had dinner waiting when I got home, so no losers here!
Holiday yesterday and snow day today. Federal Government is closed so DH will be home with us, thank goodness. The kids are so stir crazy from all the cold weather
