I really don't think this situation has anything to with the haircut itself.
You've posted before that you and DH don't see eye-to-eye regarding finances, at one point I think you mentioned being terrible with budgeting, and this feels like more of the same.
I could be dead wrong, but repeating the same behavior and expecting the outcome to be different seems like a lot of wasted energy.
Fess up, do as you like, and deal with the fall-out.
Isn't the situation MariaVonTrapp is talking about embezzlement?
Also, if you "caught" the employee, was it caught in the act? Did the employee or does the employee know they were caught? This is illegal and I would not fuck around with this because you are essentially an accessory to embezzlement and I'm fairly certain that your job is more important than avoidance of an awkward conversation.
I have access to our accounts and I noticed something suspicious so I further investigated. Confirmed that something personal was charged to our credit card. The only reason I even noticed is because they had the item at work. If I wouldn't have seen it, I would have never noticed it as something odd on the account.
When I got sober I basically lived on red Bull and cigarettes and that didn't come close to 500$. The colonoscopy I needed after I started shitting blood as a result of that lifestyle was well over 500$ however.

I have wanted to play here but usually when I have the time to be on, I get sucked down the black holes of politics and activism. This has to be a post and run, but I've have two small confessions:
1. I feel sexy when I drive stick shift with a real clutch and manual roll down windows. More sexy than I've ever felt in fancy lingerie.
2. I thought Kate Hudson and Kate Moss were the same person until last weekend.

I love those bows jbm ! Looks like I will be online shopping today.
FFFC: I was watching Pioneer Woman yesterday during DD's nap time and I found myself strangely attracted to her husband, Ladd. And then I had a sex dream about him last night. I have the German embarrassment for myself.
I met and got a picture with him. Talk about the German embarrassment...
Fucking Toby Keith. I have always hated him. So much so that when I went to volunteer in the Dominican Republic for a month my dad printed off a million Toby Keith pictures and hid them in my luggage so that I would find them throughout my trip... I didn't know ANYONE there and they probably thought I was some fucking Toby Keith fan girl weirdo. UGH
That's hilarious.
Fourteen year old me felt pretty cool because his was the first concert that my friend and I got to go to without a chaperone - mainly because my older sister said she'd take us but had no interest in country music so just dropped us off and whatever festival he was playing (this was early 90s and he wasn't that big yet) .
But once he dissed my Dixie Chicks, he was dead to me.
He doesn't get curly hair and wanting to get a really good cut for it, that is OK. He doesn't need to.Tell him what you're doing and move on.
Thanks. I'm just going to tell him probably get into a fight over it and do it anyway. Then beg for forgiveness later lol.
Wait. I know I should catch up first but this one. Beg forgiveness for what??? You two have already agreed it's your money to spend how you see fit. He shouldn't be giving you grief about what you spend it on. If he's going to, I see nothing wrong with just not sharing the information.
Yesterday I wanted to watch Criminal Minds during nap time, MH did not. I offered sex if we could watch it. He agreed. Then he went upstairs and I sat on the couch. We remained on our respective floors for approximately 30 minutes until I texted him asking if he was coming back. He thought we were going to do it upstairs. I thought we were going to do it downstairs.
So, yesterday I bartered sex to watch a CBS primetime show and then there was a miscommunication where it would take place and we both awkwardly sat on different floors of the house for half an hour waiting for each other.
did you at least get to watch what you wanted on tv while you waited?
(my previously mentioned handy was because I wanted to finish watching my Top Chef rerun)
No! This is what confused me. He left ESPN on and I just wandered away. So I sat there like, "he should be back anyyyy minute."
Country music was big in my house growing up. Up until LAST WEEK I thought Toby Keith's "should've been a cowboy" song had the line "Wearing my SEX SHOE, riding my pony on a cattle drive"
I heard my H sing it and realized those are ummm not the words. I told him what I thought the words were and his face was priceless. He said "WTF is a sex shoe?"
few pages behind but +1 also thought it was sex shoe and assumed it was some country reference I didn't understand lol
Yesterday afternoon I caught my employee using the company credit card for personal purchases.
Confession: I have considered not reporting it to my boss to avoid dealing with the aftermath.
Girl no. If it comes out and your boss finds out you had knowledge of it but covered it up, you most likely will be fired.
only on page 3 so forgive me if you've moved on. I agree. While not exactly the same thing my dad was once fired for not reporting someone that backed into a piece of equipment at work. He wasn't the one that caused the damage but he knew about it so they were both fired.
Also, for a long time I didn't know that whip was slang for car, and based on urban music lyrics, I thought a disproportionately large number of black people were into S&M.
At some point that came up in discussion with my black co-workers. People were literally crying with laughter.

The only reason I even noticed is because they had the item at work. If I wouldn't have seen it, I would have never noticed it as something odd on the account.
please just tell me what the item was before I literally DIE of curiosity. Kthanx.
LOL. I believe you have NOLA roots so you will probably appreciate this.
It's a King Cake. They didn't purchase the actual King Cake with our account (as far as I know), but used the company shipping account (that has discounted rates), to ship it to their family member in New York City PRIORITY OVERNIGHT. I looked up how much it would cost to do this not on our account... $115
That is how I know this was absolutely not an accident. Everyone knows shipping King Cakes is outrageously expensive.

No! This is what confused me. He left ESPN on and I just wandered away. So I sat there like, "he should be back anyyyy minute."
I am laughing that you sat there for 30 minutes and didn't change the channel and also loling that you texted him to see if he was coming back instead of going upstairs
Did you end up having to put out and not get your show?
LOL. I believe you have NOLA roots so you will probably appreciate this.
How much did it cost on your account?
$20
Also, I want to point out that even if they were planning on paying it back, it is not permitted to use work accounts with discounted fees for your personal advantage. So this wouldn't be OK even if they offered to pay for it.
The last place I worked required that your personal credit cards be a different color than the company card in order to be able to carry one. Otherwise, you had to just put in for reimbursement.
I'm confused, mena. You said you are already driving out of town for the day, so you would just have to leave early, but earlier you stated that H would be mad about the gas. If you are already traveling out of town, wouldn't you be using the gas already? Why would he be mad?
He thinks I should just stick with my BFF who gives me a huge discount.
And it's not exactly on the way of where I'm traveling for work.
Catching up, but I remember reading your Devachan Salon thread. You said you were off work for the day and you were taking the drive just to get this cut. I'm confused, and it sounds like you should just tell you H instead of all this work to keep it from him.
SIL did some work with Tess Holli.day recently. I'm both jealous and have the German embarrassment for her (walking around a train station in a bra) at the same time. I'm conflicted.
German embarrassment for who? tessa or your SIL?
I think SIL... or just the models in general. I think the thing needed better planning or execution or something.

I had a lot of liberty with my company credit card. So I would get planners, cab rides, my preferential office supplies, etc. It would always be work-related and I was never questioned or anything. But I always felt so nervous when I used it. I always wonder how people have the balls to just straight up charge non-work related things and feel ok about it.
I got someone fired and sued because they were using a work account at a local auto parts store to fix up their mustang. I noticed that the signature of the normal purchaser looked different (he was forging the managers signature) and confirmed it with the manager. I don't feel bad at all. It did cause me a bit of a headache because I had to go back and find other instances where he used accounts at other locations too. Really he's just lucky we didn't press charges.

I put out. And that is very hard considering he has a leg that doesn't work.
And then I watched Crim Minds. It was a good episode!
