Well, I could have been waiting for a long time. We have another snow day today!! It sucks that I got up and came here (after 4 hours of sleep again... ugh) but on the other hand I'm thrilled to have another unexpected day off. Work shower thank you notes, here we come!

notagoddess see that's the snow I'm waiting for haha. Not the kind that makes me late for work, but the kind that cancels work all together. I too am in line at Starbucks 😅 I'll check out this chocolate latte you speak of!
Really I'm trying to decide if it's more cost effective to buy balloons on Amazon and have them filled at party city, buy them on Amazon and buy a helium tank, or just buy at party city.
Except party city doesn't have a dump truck balloon.

notagoddess, sorry about the lack of dilation news, but yay for a snow day? What does the chocolate latte taste like? I'm trying to decide if I need H to pick one up for me on his way home from work today
I made pancakes this morning since H wasn't home for breakfast (he doesn't like them - the weirdo) and because I need to replenish my frozen pancake supply. My dad is coming in 45 minutes so he can loan us a car since he still hasn't fixed mine.
I have an appointment for DS this morning. He slept really well, but he's still so sick sounding, and last night he started tugging at his ear. So I want to make sure there's not something going on that I can't see. I have a feeling they'll tell me he just has a bad cold, but I'd rather know for sure with the weekend coming up.
Oh, and he's been subsisting on apples and a few crackers and bites of peanut butter bread for the last week, so I can't wait to see how much weight he's lost 😢
I'm hoping to actually finish my sewing this weekend. And maybe get to target or the grocery store. Since we've been unable to get there yet. It's good we have a lot of food in the freezer. I wrote a list of things we *need* to get done to bring baby home, and it is shockingly small. Thank goodness!

I've always just bought my balloons off of Amazon and then bought one of those $25 helium tanks at Walmart and filled them myself.

Also, there are still 14 days until my due date. All these babies being born on here have made me start dreaming about newborns, labor and delivery, and contractions. Lol.

I'm gone for one day and there are more babies born yesterday with 2 more being served their eviction papers today! So excited for everyone!!!
I have my OB appointment in an hour, I will most likely be told that he is still quite comfy and made no moves to join us, which is fine by me. I have accepted that I will probably be the last one to have a baby on this board and I am ok with that since you all will be experts at the newborn thing and can help out a FTM with the millions of questions.
notagoddess and coffeeonice - please let me know how the molten lava Starbucks drink is!

@wineandcupcakes, I might have missed it, but did you post pics of your beautiful girls? I need pictures when you are feeling well and have a moment (lol at the last part of that statement!)

pivot how many balloons does a tank fill? I want to get a jumbo dump truck balloon plus a few smaller ones.

coffeeonice and shawnabm1320, it's a limited-time drink they created for Valentine's Day. It's pretty good but did not quite live up to the deliciousness promised by the photos. Still, I enjoyed it.
shellbell Here's a link to the tank I bought for DD's birithday in Sept. I don't know why I thought it was $25. It's $50. But this is what it says it fills: Tank can fill approximately (50) - 9' latex balloons, (27) - 11' latex balloons, (27) - 18' Foil Balloons, or (20) - 20' Foil Balloons.
I'm not sure what Party City charges to fill balloons, but having the balloons and tank delivered and not having to go to the store was a nice convenience. If you'll already be going to Party City for other things then it might be more cost effective.

I got a tank for an event and work and you can legitimately cut the number of balloons in half for what you get. We barely got 16 latex balloons filled and had to can using balloons for our second event. I'd have filled at party city.

DS1 just asked to lay a blanket down. Couldn't figure out why... he wanted to lay with his brother. I just can't handle the sweetness. DS2 only had two wake ups last night and DS1 woke up at 7:10! I know it won't last but it's awesome when good sleep happens. Nothing else planned today, we might try to go to the park later.
Good luck to everyone evicting babies today! I hope things progress well. And good luck to everyone dealing with snow, I hope you get to stay home and rest up!
I freaked out last night because I'm not ready. I'm ready for the baby, but the rest of my house is a disaster (because I've been prepping for the baby) and I'm stressed. We have like five or six loads of laundry, and that's only going to get 100x worse once we have a baby to add to the mix. I just want to get this stuff done so I don't have to do it while sleep deprived with a newborn and with people visiting my house.

staz, MH's response to me telling him I was in labor was to throw EVERYTHING into the washer. Which was fine except I ended up throwing it all into the dryer while contracting. He didn't want to come home to dirty clothes. Hilarious, we also haven't gone a day without doing laundry since we've been home. So. Much. Laundry.

Hi ladies! Checking in.
I'm all admitted to the hospital. They started my pitocin about 15 minutes ago. They were going to give me misoprostil (sp?) but apparently I was already contracting (and regularly) so it wasn't an option.
So now I wait...
In other news, there was a code white in the hospital and my nurse went running out. What does that even mean? Sounds exciting...

loves2shop4shoes good luck today!!! So happy for you. Code white in our hospital is a psych code. So usually someone needing some restraining or tranquilizers. Extra security gets called. We've only had a handful on labor and delivery. Usually over DCF issues or baby daddy drama. It's no fun.
We are waiting to be discharged here. Hopefully the next few hours. We are going to eat lunch and snuggle. DH went home to plow, so he'll be back soon

Both of DS's ears are a little red, so we have a rx for antibiotics if they get worse this weekend. I'm not supposed to give it to him unless he seems like he needs them. Hmmmm.
Also, I drove my dad's Durango, and it wasn't that bad. It was kind of nice that DS was at waist level, so I didn't have to bend over to get him in his car seat. It's the little things

notagoddess enjoy your second day off! pivot FX for a full moon baby for you! shawnabm1320 hope your son's appointment goes well. Also, DH made me pancakes this morning, yum! crazycatlady6 hope your appointment went well! @jacks605 happy two week birthday to your twins! musicallyinclined that's too cute about your older boy. staz I wouldn't worry too much about the general state of your house. If you get it in pristine condition it likely won't last long once you're home. I'm with musicallyinclined, so much laundry all the time! Yay for going home flyinghorses6!!
I can't believe little miss is 3 weeks old today. Where has the time gone??? It makes me so sad to think my maternity leave it almost a third of the way over already. How is that possible?
DH is kicking me out of the house for a few hours tonight to get dinner/drinks with a girlfriend. I'm looking forward to it, but also anxious about it. I've only gone out for short periods of time to run errands. Plus I look a hot mess.
Also, I started a 30 day squat challenge today and had to do 30 squats. It was embarrassing how difficult that was for me.
Baby foot in my right lung/rib. Oh my god it hurts. I'm pushing the baby down and it helps but kid keeps sticking that damn foot back there! So uncomfortable and painful.
