dancerspose, squat challenge? I'll be lucky if I can squat to take a shit after this baby gets here.
flyinghorses6, yay! You get to go home. Code white sounds like drama... grabs popcorn.
That's how I felt the first week post delivery. I was told to wait 6 weeks before exercising, but I feel so sluggish. I used to be able to do squats for days but my pregnancy induced laziness killed that. I want to do a 30 day ab challenge, but I will wait another week or two before starting that one.

We just went for a walk, that's all the exercise I have energy for right now. I'm pretending pushing 26lbs in the stroller and having 6lbs strapped to me made it count for more. Cannot imagine squats right now.
I'm trying not to be, but I'm so jealous of all of you with outside babies, or ones on the way today!
I know she can't stay in there forever, and my due date is tomorrow, but come on! Too many contractions and false alarms are making me freaking insane. My OB actually prescribed sex, which would be fine if I could stay in any position long enough to complete the deed. So more bouncing on the yoga ball, and going up and down stairs, doing errands, etc., praying for this kid to come out!
Get it together baby cosmicav! Stop being a jerk face! Coming from a mama whose baby also enjoys hanging out in my ribs.
I broke the "couch potato rest" rules a bit today. Took DS to Bob Evans for breakfast before daycare and then stopped at Target. My BP has been good since I've been resting, so I'm not worried. And after being out for a few hours I will sit on the couch the rest of the day. Im telling myself it's ok, because this amount of activity is still teeny tiny for me. I'm a very active person, no matter how pregnant.

I told myself the same thing when I went for a walk wearing Z the other day. I mean it's like walking abs weight work all in one, right?
And tomorrow I'm supposed to do 50 squats. I chose the easy level challenge. How is the jump from 30 to 50 in one day easy?
Can you make it a 60 day challenge and move a little slower dancerspose? I would hate to see you damage your pelvic floor or something... Use caution!
Thanks for the words of caution. My plan is to space them out quite a bit throughout the day doing only 5-10 at a time. That way it isn't too taxing at any one time.
I just got a coupon for a delivery place where I get lunch for $5 off. Looks like I know where I'm ordering from today! AND I found $20 in my pocket! SCORE!

So many babies coming! Looking for an update from sweetieheart32....
I slept through the night pretty well. I've had a couple more sporadic contractions today. I'm hoping labor holds off until Wednesday! I'm very sick of this false/prodromal crap.

notagoddess - we will be pregnant together forever! I had my OB appt. this morning with zero dilation. We get to talk about his eviction at next week's appointment.

Anyone have or is familiar with the Honda HR-V? My husband really wants to lease one and I'm worried about the middle seat in the back being a pain for car seats. I'd prefer not to put the kids just on the outer seats cause then baby would be in the second safest place and dd1 in the third safest...not ideal.

Baby OldBayLover is here! Con.rad Lu.ke was born at 9:37 a.m. weighing 8 lbs 5.6 oz and 21" long. He's beautiful!
Funny story - I had strong contractions all morning and my water broke on the OR table before surgery started! Guess he wanted to be born today, scheduled c section or not!
But he's in the NICU with fluid in his lungs. When things slow down a bit I'll update more. He'll probably be in the NICU for 48 hours. I'm not really doing well at all and feel really scared and anxious. It's been rough honestly.

oldbaylover1024 I'm glad he's here, and I love his name! But I'm sorry he's in the NICU. I hope his stay is short. Keeping you both in my thoughts. ((Hugs))

Yay for another baby day!!
We just got back from DD1s French school kindergarten tour, and the hospital tour. So now all pending appointments are done and the last big baby thing is done on my list!
That is, other than reminding the ILs we don't want visitors right after, which DH is acting way more soft on so far than I'd like. However, I have no problem pulling the hormone card after delivery and going all mama bear mode to get the job done myself. Now just to actually have the baby. Feeling like I'll be past my due date. Nothing spectacular going on over here.
{MP TMI} Just as I say "nothing spectacular is going on" I go to the bathroom and pass the largest piece of MP I've ever done for any of my pregnancies. Like seriously half the size of a wine cork. Progress? Or just really gross? Probably just gross.
