I'm ignoring the fact that this could potentially be colick or a food allergy opheliainwaders. This will be me if the doctor suggests any dietary restrictions at her two week appointment on Monday...like my beloved dairy.
I've just had two successful burping with a weird hold up by the arm pits to elongate her torso while holding her head with my fingers move.
heybulldog56, If you like western based shows, Netflix has Hell On Wheels and it's a really good series. So is Longmire. As is Justified but that's on Amazon.
I'm currently watching Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, HTGAWM, The Bachelor, New Girl, Modern Family, Bones, and The Mindy Project on Hulu.
Another season of Reign just started but you have to watch it on the CW's site for the current season but Netflix has all the previous ones.
Ah man, MH accidentally chipped a platter from a meal someone brought us. He's bumming hard about it and I feel terrible. I hope it wasn't sentimental or anything. Ugh.

I just had my first real postpartum crying jag. I was really ambitious and took both kids for a walk about a half a mile to the gas station, got crushed ice and a sprinkle doughnut for DD and headed home. When I got home I discovered our stupid dog had eaten a half a loaf of bread, all the bread we have in the house. I already hated her and this just makes it so much worse, andplusalso I don't want to go to the store to get a new loaf of bread but we need bread. I just broke down and started crying, DD still in the stroller and R wrapped to my chest, I couldn't help it. Now to figure out what DD is going to eat for lunch since she can't have her go to PB&J.
I started it before I went into labor. Haven't picked it back up but maybe I should. Seemed a little long in detail and repetitive from the little I read.

The 5s stuff is brilliant and works really well.
But I'm having trouble finishing the book. I wasn't sure if the book was the problem or my terrible attention span
lakegirl I just asked my pedi BIL about the gas drops and gripe water. He said the gas drops have the same active ingredient (simethicone) as mylanta/maalox/gas-x, but the gripe water does not. That might be why carrots found the gripe water ineffective.
Hugs meeggaannw. Any chance you have a banana, and could do some sort of PB boat for her as a "treat"? Or PB&J crackers (marketed as special mini sandwiches?)?
I did leftovers from last night. Thanks for the banana suggestion, I do actually have some and always forget about them.
Well, I did EASY for 2 cycles today, then B was stubborn about going down for his nap so I resorted to nursing. I'm torn now between taking a nap with him and getting something to eat...

What's worse than not getting to nap? Having the perfect time for a nap and not being able to fall asleep. 😩😩😩 why won't my brain shut down when it needs to?!
Hope the day goes well for you without yh around, you got this! How old is she now? I think starting around 3 months is when drooling amps up, not sure how that works for preemie adjusted age tho.
+1 peaseblossom55 and then ds got his first tooth at 4 months 😭
What?? Teeth already. Yea I have no idea how that works with her actual versus adjusted age

I'm currently enjoying a double nap and instead of sleeping myself I am binging UnReal and eating cookies. I might regret this later but right now I'm loving the "Y" in EASY.
I called my mom when my nap was clearly not happening. She came over so I could shower. I did manage to shave AND comb my hair. Maybe I'll get a nap the next time she goes down.
Or maybe she'll go to bed early and sleep a long stretch for me.

Some jerk broke DH's driver side window and he's supposed to be doing deliveries tonight in the rain, so I'm doing extra solo parenting while he gets it fixed.
They didn't even try to take anything (nothing to take) so it was just smash and run. Super frustrating.
Wound care wants me back again on Tuesday. I'm healing but it seems like 2-3 weeks is an eternity when I have to keep leaving the baby.
My kid has been awake for like 3.5 hours and will. not. sleep. He's perfectly content at least? I've legit tried everything.
Mine too. He snoozed a bit on the boob, but no legit naps. He does this every night as he tanks up for sleep. I guess it's good that he does it during the day lol.

silvermelody that's awful! People can be so awful sometimes.
pibblemom story of my life. Mh can turn his brain off and fall asleep in an instant. I'm so jealous.
peaseblossom55 you never know! Ds was an early teether starting at 4 months and having everything (except his two year molars) by one year. My friend's baby didn't have any teeth for her first birthday!

That's horrible silvermelody. People can be such dicks.
Warning: vent ahead. Feel free to skip.
I am so tired of being tired. I feel like every day is the same and it's bumming me out. I know this is temporary but it's so hard to feel motivated, enthusiastic, or upbeat when I'm exhausted and frustrated with the monotony of life with a newborn. It's making me really blah and I hate it.
