Funny shit for this Sunday.
I already mentioned on my FB.
I was getting dressed yesterday and W was saying what all my tattoos were. I wasn't sure she has ever really noticed my old tramp stamp on my back of a crappy rose I got at 18. She correctly identified all tattoos but then said my back tattoo was a Tamarin! LMFAO! (They are her favorite at the zoo)
Thing is, she wasn't wrong. Here is my sad, almost 15 year old tattoo. I can see it.
So apparently the winter 2017 illness sequence is: stomach bug, head cold, upper respiratory infection, head cold. If you're lucky you might get a side of strep or viral conjunctivitis! My co-worker got that, I'd always thought pink eye was bacterial. Anyway, the whole house is stuffy and snotty-again

@ceci8876 I hope everyone starts feeling better soon!!!
cornpop311 You may be able to contact code enforcement to see if there are any violations. I know in my area, people constantly call code enforcement. Even if you leave out a visible (to your neighbor) ladder you could get sited.
cornpop311 - I second code enforcement. DH used to work for that office in college and they handled all sorts of crazy stuff in regards to appearances of homes/yards.
I've been grocery shopping and now I'm about to blast some music on my new speaker DH got me and clean. I don't really want to clean, but knowing I'll be out of the house in two hours helps my motivation. I'm going to lunch with a friend I haven't talked to in a while. She mentioned some hard times so I think she needs a break from life.
DD1 and I are having a joint Mama-Daughter date with another mom & daughter this afternoon. Hope everyone clicks; I need more adult friends! Looking forward to getting out of the house regardless.
Ugh I feel like shit. I have a stomach bug or something. I was lounging in the couch and I DS was playing in his room. He snuck past me somehow and went out into the backyard through the dog door.
We just got back from the supermarket, getting a few nor'easter essentials. It is now snowing. The updated estimate is around 8-14 inches or more between now and Monday afternoon. Here is a snow pic:

Over here getting ready for Disney and I'm super sad because it's supposed to rain the entire time we're there! I don't wanna cover up these cute outfits! yl any tips for rainy Disney visits?
tcck OMG you are killing me with those outfits. SO CUTE. I will say, on days we've been having rain this past week, it hasn't rained ALL DAY. We've had rain in the mornings and the evenings, but the days have been clear. I hope it's that way for you!
They sell these yellow Mickey ponchos in the park that are actually pretty fun because everyone is wearing them.
Aside from one weekend in January, our rain hasn't been very bad at all, so I wouldn't be too worried. Bring rain boots for them and an umbrella + ponchos and you should be fine.

It is snowing again here today. I'd really love another snow day tomorrow so I can continue packing for our upcoming trip. Only supposed to get 2-4in. We shall see what happens!

For the first time in a looooooong time, my house is actually looking clean! Like almost clean enough that I would take pictures for when we list it. This hasn't happened since the day we closed on the house and hadn't moved anything in yet. It feels amazing.
Question for listing. Our upstairs couches are gross and stained. The basement couches are dark so much nicer looking. Would you swap the couches around so it looks nicer in pictures or keep the way it is? I would cover the couches with blankets if people come see it, but I don't want it to look tacky in pictures. They'll obviously be cleaned before pictures though. The upstairs ones are similar to the wall colour so it doesn't look overly nice. But the basement is the big selling point in the house since it's finished nicely and a style that people in this town seem to love, so I want it to look nice as well.

@wafflesfriendswork, miralax? But that could take some time. Our pedi said I could give C a cap full a day until things started moving. We've also given suppositories on 2 occasions. Raisins? Good luck.
HALP. I need to get HH to poop. We've tried juice, peaches, pears, water, etc. she usually poops 1-3 times a day so no poop in 36 is a BIG DEAL and she's clearly uncomfortable (and taking it out on is.). What can I do?
Blueberries work wonders for F. Although my in-laws don't believe me.

You guys, my in-laws came for lunch, and BROUGHT THEIR OWN BAGGIE OF BLUEBERRIES TO FEED TO MY CHILD. Like 1.5/2 cups worth! What is wrong with them!?
Seriously, no matter how many times we tell them that he gets runny poop and diaper rash from eating too many berries, they literally sit there and say "it's not going to hurt him."
