Dd has leg rolls. Ds was a skinny chicken legged string bean. I need help. I noticed this morning that one of her leg rolls/creases (not her actual bits) in her diaper area is super red and shiny, almost raw looking, it's not bumpy. She locks her legs during changes which is making it tough to deal with the situation. Wetness irritation? Pee burn?!
What's the best course after cleaning and drying? Triple paste? Something more greasy like Aquaphor? My faithful coconut oil?
She has her two week appointment tomorrow so obviously I'll be consulting the doctor but what can I do for the poor little peanut today?
Thank you! Today we were out and about but I'm building in some naked air it out time tomorrow.
On this note... we used to do naked time with DD, but I'm sorta afraid to do it with DS. Those of you with boys, do they have more...range with their accidents? I'm so worried at every diaper change that I'm gonna get a fountain in the face.
Ds got it on the wall behind the changing table once. It went up over his head to hit the wall. So more height and then a couple feet. I put a small cloth over him.
I've actually had more accidents with dd. It just wells up and goes all over her clothes. Sighs.
ellabee, I've had very little in way of accidents with both boys, just have to be quick in changing them. F has peed on his face but we manage to get something over him before we have a fountain.
As for ouchies. After a bath we use a hair dryer on cool to help dry the bits and Bepanthen ointment/cream. That stuff is my go too for nappy issues.
