becole that does sound frustrating I hope you all can figure it out. I'm nervous about how to work all of that out with DC too. Since N didn't go to DC until 1 yo I never had to worry about the feeding schedule etc.

And my kid is sick She started a little cough last night but no fever. H took care of her this morning and dropped her at school. At 12 I got the call she has a fever and severe cough and was struggling to catch her breath. I made an appt at pedi but it's not until 7. I just hope its nothing serious that the baby could get
And she's going to miss her valentines party tomorrow. I had cute valentines picked out for her and everything.
Aw, that's a bummer. I'm sure she'll still get some valentines from the other kids, and you can bring yours in on Wednesday. Hope she feels better soon!

If it's bronchiolitis/ rsv- send her to mils if you can! Baby still got it but not as bad so I don't think it was even from his brother. He had a fever 3 days so he was out of school for like 4 days.
Re: bra fitting. I was disappointed they didn't have more options. They only had two in my size in the store but the website has like at least 30 bras in my size for nursing. I wound up getting a wireless natori. Natori is what I found fit best not pregnant as well. Now that I know my size I might order one more online but with wires. My boobs look so much better supported right now. It was like $70 for one bra but I'm going to wear it 5 days/ week.

It's been interesting. He naps all day long at home and eats. He's not taking very long naps there at school or very many. He's falling asleep in the car on the way home which is also frustrating because I want to spend time with him. I had C taking 3 naps/ day at daycare with the last one where he would wake up right when I got there and not go to sleep until bedtime. He also only got 3 4 ounce bottles/ feedings in that same timeframe. I'm trying not to compare because babies are different. But as long as night time sleep is good I'm trying not to even bring up the nap situation. Hopefully it will improve over time but it's a little alarming to see on his sheet that he's awake from 7am wake up until 12:45pm as his first nap as a 3 month old. I can't complain about everything at once so baby steps...

DD only naps for an hour each day, but she is finally (praise Jesus. It only took 2 years) pretty consistently sleeping through the night now (knock on wood). I would rather her sleep 8-8 with an hour nap than sleep bad at night, or wake up super early and take a 2-2.5 hour nap. Can't win them all. I'm still hoping next baby is a better night sleeper sooner than 2 years though!

This is my thought as well but some sleep experts advocate that if day sleep is bad, then baby will wake more frequently at night. I've not noticed a difference in night sleep between the days he doesn't nap at school and the weekends where he naps a ton.
becole, naps at daycare were a mess for us for a long time. But I think you have the right attitude about it. As long as they're giving him opportunities to sleep, all you can really do is wait it out. He may just be kind of overstimulated since it's still new, or it may just take him time to get comfortable with the situation.

I have the type that takes a 2-2.5 hour nap, but he's awake at the crack of dawn every day. I am going to do everything possible to not let that happen with the next baby. I feel like it was my fault, because I used to get him up at 5:30 to nurse and get him dressed while H was in the shower and then have time to get myself ready. And 5:30 has been the time he wakes up ever since then. Hopefully next time I can change our morning schedule to have the baby sleep a while longer.

Yeah I totally think that's why DD sleeps until 8. I don't have to get up for work until 8, so it's just out natural wake up time. If you have to wake them up early, that just becomes their natural rhythm.
I'm late to the party here, but I would without a doubt give them a cutoff time becole. I'm sure they are still figuring him out, but the emergency freezer stash you have already provided to them is fine for that on occasion. I wouldn't even go into a big explanation with them, just a simple note like jobub suggested. I think you are right to be frustrated and I wouldn't be backing down either.

The baby wakes between 5:30-6:30. I bring him in bed and nurse him laying down and he falls asleep. Then I sneak out of bed and get dressed and get everything ready. The last thing I do is wake the baby up and change his diaper (he sleeps in his school clothes.) so far it's been working. He will sleep until 7:45-8 on the weekends if I nurse him.

Thank you. I think maybe writing it down is the way to go.

MH took her to the doc they are on their way back now. He said she has a virus not sure what, guessing not rsv or else he would have told me I hope. But they are more concerned that she has really bad asthma and she needs to do breathing treatments every 6 hrs. Thankfully H is taking off tomorrow bc the doc wants to see her again to make sure the treatments are helping. Poor kiddo.

vlagroupie oh no! A has "ashma" so we have an inhaler. If it's something like a bad virus will you let me know trying to decide if DH should take A in.
I think rsv/ bronchiolitis is rampant right now everywhere. I read it's common when it rains in the winter. It's snot and a wet cough like a cold- also a fever. And wheezing/ fast breathing. Babies might do a head bob or their ribs look like they're sucking in, but older kids not so much. Baby has had the bronchiolitis for two weeks now and still snotty and coughing when laying down or in the morning. Please no more sickness, go away.

I think it's just a virus, she has a super runny nose, cough and was super listless earlier today. H had to drive around to 2 pharmacies to get the breathing treatment and during that time N threw up all over herself. When they got home she was acting like a different kid, so either throwing up or the breathing treatment helped or both. Anyway if she doesn't have a fever I'd take her, but be prepared for a call, that's what happened today with N.

Sorry I feel ya, just praying that me and the baby are spared. I think I was sick with upper respiratory thing for like a month. Can't wait for spring and summer.
