ashlantic how's the kon mari going? I did a few cabinets and some of the pantry the other day. I need to go do my closets...it'll help me find clothes I can wear!
All I've been wearing are leggings, tank tops and some of my maternity shirts. Need work outfits. I go back next Thursday.
It's going well! I donated 6 bags of clothing! I even got dh to help go through his stuff. The next category is books, which is kind of daunting because we have SO many. I want to do it on a weekend when dh and I can tackle it together.
TGIF. And thank God for coffee. It's a crabby morning in our house today. Lo's world has been rocked by having to "share" his mom and toys and space all of a sudden and is being clingy. He didn't sleep good at all last night and was up crying several times last night. That being said, I think it's good for him to learn how to not be the center of attention. Lol And they do have fun together. She was the second person he mentioned this morning (after dada, of course.)
I'm crabby with dh but trying to shake it off. I mentioned playing a board game together after lo went to bed last night and he was all about it. Until all of a sudden he had some email that could not wait and by the time he was done I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. It's just a little thing but I felt blown off and now I'm annoyed.

ashlantic, ugh, men. I remember when we used to play cards or even watch a movie together. I feel like DH has stopped trying or better said, he doesn't make it a priority...esp with our time constraints. The one thing we do together these days is watch the 9 o'clock news. Hugs to your LO. It must be hard to learn to share in his own little world. But yay for making friends.
Well shit. Lo woke up with a wicked cough and stuffy nose. Fx this cold makes its rounds quickly because we leave for vacation in a week and a half.
Yesterday I took lo and E (the little girl I'm watching) to the library for a sensory play day. They both had a lot of fun. And I have even more respect for all y'all with more than 1. Leaving the house with 2 2 year olds in tow was like trying to herd cats.
raven how did the rest of the night go? Love that song, btw.
Ugh the past week has been exhausting, I'm so glad it's the weekend, and a long one here in Canada. DH has been on evenings the past 7 days so I've been solo parenting, had a mom freak out on me over her son's final grade, DH sliced his finger open and had to rush to get stitches (leaving me to clean up the crime scene) and one of my students died on Wednesday. I don't think I can take much more. DH took F out this morning and instead of cleaning or prepping I took a two hour nap. Going swimming this afternoon then it's date night, so at least things are looking up. I don't even have any good pics to AW since life has been so hectic

ashlantic sometimes I'm not sure what's more work: staying home with the kids or venturing out. FX lo's cold ends soon and no one else gets it. When leo got sick, we managed not to get sick miracle of miracles.
Really proud of LO for being potty trained. But I'm super over the tour of public restrooms we've been on since she decided she was done wth diapers. I swear that kid pees three hundred times a day!
Little man is so miserable. Sucky timing too, because we're having some ridiculously warm weather too and he can't really enjoy it. We did get outside for a bit yesterday.
I did get to head out to Target alone yesterday. Ahh, solo shopping. Cartwheel had 25% off clothes, so I got a bunch of tops for spring.

Yesterday we were out all day enjoying the warm weather. Today it's just me and the kids. Took a walk to the park to tire Leo out. Didn't exactly work but he had fun.
I bought the kids clothes with dinosaurs from jumping beans 50% off.
Leo wanted the big kids swing
Almost home. Alex also refused to nap on our walk which was my plan. Boys.
