So DS1 was a horrible napper. It wasn't really anything we did, he was just born with an internal clock that had him going all day and passing out at night. As a newborn, he could nurse for 45 min and still be wide awake. He was the king of 20 min cat naps and light sleeping. To this day, he's still super active all day and asks to go to bed at night.
It seems, so far, that DD is much more chill and willing to actually sleep during the day. So, I'd like to encourage this as much as possible--you know, because I can't really make a baby do anything, but I sure can try! Right now I've been nursing her to sleep and then putting her in the bassinet in our family room. But, of course, DS then feels the need to go over and tell her "wake up baby!" or drop a toy car in her face or "hold hands" with the napping baby....you get the picture, ha.
So where are your babies napping these days? It seems weird to be plopping such a new baby into her crib all day, but maybe I'm wrong? Maybe I should just move her into the formal living room where DS is less likely to annoy her. I'm clueless in this area, so any help is appreciated!

During the day he sleeps in the following places: RNP, on my chest while I sleep on the couch, wrapped to my body, car seat if running errands, and PNP if we are upstairs.
So as you can see... we don't do formal nap time with him yet. He just sleeps where ever is most convinient for me depending on what I am doing/ have to do. Luckily DS leaves him alone for the most part so putting him down in the living room isn't a problem.

My toddler is always messing with the baby if he's down anywhere she can get to him too. I'm probably no help though, our bedroom is right off the living room, where we spend 90% of our time, so I put him in there in the bassinet. I can hear him when he cries but dd can't get to him.
I'm still holding/wearing him for naps. I can't help myself. We set him in the Rnp if I need to, and he seems to transfer ok. I'll start naps in the crib at some point before my leave ends, but I'm feeling emotional about this probably being my last baby and wanting to hoard all the snuggles.

F is currently napping in the swing. But he also naps on me a lot. Or in my bed. I just put him down and it never occurred to me to put him in his crib. I might need to start soon though because DS is another one for waking up the baby, just wanting to touch him, etc

It just depends. Sometimes he's on the couch with me, sometimes he falls asleep on his play mat, sometimes I transfer to the mamaroo or crib. Just depends on what in trying to get done.

Anywhere really - we hold him, the RnP, swing, K'tan, pack n play. He will sleep through anything, namely DD playing her drums in the same room as him lol. I'm another trying to soak up as many baby snuggles as possible bc this is my last - yet still not trying to create a monster.

So, my DD1 is at daycare during the week. But even on the weekends, doesn't really try to wake up baby. With that in mind, DD2 naps:
-Usually in the RnP -Sometimes on my lap or chest -Once in a while wrapped to me in the Moby -When I think of it, in the PnP to get used to "flat on the back" sleeping, because we intend to have her sleep in the crib at night in the next few weeks.
My eldest does the same, always in poor F's face and using him as a road or poking eyes out (nice to know its not just him). I put F down in his pram bassinet either out of the Pram and on the couch or in the pram (both in the living room). Failing that its holding or sling. I'm playing things by ear really and not trying to stress it. We did everything with my A14, held him all night for 6 weeks, co slept, fed to sleep and sling and slowly got to a point where he would sleep in his own bed and own room with little stress or drama (a little sleep training used) and I have to bribe him to get up some mornings now XD.
Any way I think as F gets older I will try to get him to nap in his crib in his room (when we are at home) but right now with naps all over the shot its not worth it and if I have him in the pram bassinet then I can at least pop it in the pram and go out with out disturbing him.

I think I will start saying pram because it sounds so much more fancy then stroller.
And, yeah, A14 kiddo loves to "play" with the baby. Yesterday he was driving all his cars under the bassinet and crawling completely under it while declaring "beep beep!"
