As some of you know, Powell's Books in Portland OR is basically the best bookstore in the world. Now they've just added Boox, which is a picture book subscription.
BOOX, Powell’s subscription picture book club, delivers a thoughtfully curated box to your doorstep every eight weeks. Each box features one new hardcover picture book and an additional hardcover staff favorite, along with other exciting goodies. Our kids' team has sought out the best new picture books with diverse characters, inventive story lines, exquisite illustrations, and charming prose for you to treasure for years to come.
Being not-Amazon, it's not cheap. $35.95 each. But I used to get Indiespensible, their regular monthly subscription, and you really got your money's worth in nifty extras.
