Hi ladies! I'm so tired I was up all night listening to M and ds2 cough. I feel bad because I forgot today was valentine's day and dh tried to cuddle this morning but I was not having it. Oops, sorry dh. Then I felt like an even bigger ass when I found chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge.
Guys I just had to buy C new clothes because none fit well and I had been putting it off with all the new baby expenses lately.
He's in 4t. Someone hold me.
Holy shit. This can not be true.
Right?! I went in expecting to get 3t since he has been in 2t for a while. He has a few things in 3t that fit nicely already. I cant get any of his pants over his bum with cloth diapers on and they dont fit well with disposables anymore either. We tried on 3t in store and they fit him exactly right in a disposable diaper. 4t has some room to grow, especially in length.
He was 35lbs at his 18m check in Nov and as of yesterday is just over 3ft tall. The height and weights for 4t are 38.5-41.5" / 34-38lbs. So, it's definitely long on him but otherwise fits well.
I did get shirts in 3t because I hated how long they looked in 4t.
seventythree - As a wife of a weightlifter, I get it. He's cooking off weekly meals all the time and when I was pregnant and I smelled the chicken and sweet potatoes being cooked off I literally locked myself in our bedroom until he was done. My gag reflex was real.
Ha! DH is a lifter, too. I love a man who can and will cook for himself (esp when I'm KU), but man... I'm counting the days until windows-open weather.

DH took the kid and the dog for a walk in the forest preserve. I'm getting a lot better about not being all "oh, are you sure you're willing? Do you want me to come? I feel guilty..." and instead just saying GREAT, THANKS! I took the opportunity to run out shopping, and I realized I couldn't remember the last time I left the house alone other than to go to therapy. Even though I left empty-handed, that trip gave me life.

Good! We all need alone time and it can be hard to come by, especially as a SAHM.
Hi, it's Wednesday morning here. I've already put 2 loads of washing on the line and cleaned the bathroom. Still need to do floors but I'm over it already.
We leave to go surprise my parents in less than 24 hours. I'm excited, especially seeing as this will be the first time my parents get to see all 3 grandsons in the same place at the same time.
So as of right now DH has gotten me nothing today. I am displeased.
I got a packet of chips- not something I really want seeing as I'm trying to lose weight but I still ate them.
I've told him I want an exercise bike so that is hopefully going to happen and it can be for valentine's, mother's day and my birthday as far as I'm concerned.
He never buys me flowers for valentine's but usually buys them after cause he can get more for his money. Not this year though as we're away this weekend and the heat killed the last lot of flowers he bought quicker than usual.

Wow. My kid is 22lbs. Height & weight wise a pretty solid 18-24.
M is more like 25lbs but still solidly in 18-24 stuff. I'm buying 2T for spring.
Like, if you always do at least cards/flowers/chocolate/nice dinner at home, it's pretty shitty for one person to decide they're doing nothing without discussing it prior, right? I'm annoyed at DH.

Yeah, I'd be annoyed too. If he didn't want to do anything, he should've discussed it with you. Any chance he forgot it's Valentine's Day?

He didn't. He's on a business trip and I asked him when he called a few minutes ago. He said he had a gift I'd get on Saturday but he didn't think I'd really care about today since I hadn't mentioned it. Eyeroll. Apparently I should have clarified that M and I were getting him cards.

Yep, he totally should've said something since he's away. TP to him.

We go back and forth in getting gifts. He didn't get me anything last year, but he got me chocolates this year. We need to come up with an agreement so that I don't look like an asshole when I don't have something and he does. Luckily I had bought chocolate for the kid and just gave it to him like that was the plan all along. Lol.
