Bakers--Help me repurpose this FAIL

So yesterday I attempted to make 2 pans of M&M/chocolate chip cookie bars. I can't be sure, but I suspect I mis-measured the flour needed and they got all weird when I went to bake them. Crispy/extra buttery on top but not set in the middle. Smelled good, not burnt--like browned butter or caramel, I guess. I decided to try and salvage what I had left and I combined the weird dough with some more flour in my mixer and baked it off so it's essentially a cookie crumble/streusel kind of thing (stole the idea right off that damned cake!)

But now what can I do with this? So far I've considered using it as a topping on frosted cupcakes, possibly mixing it in with brownie batter or cheesecake bars, cookie-rice crispy treats, or maybe just sticking it on ice cream. I have a fair amount to use up since it was basically a double batch of cookies. Bonus points for ideas that can be used for an upcoming bake sale that I have a ton of shit to cook for. Also accepting feedback on my initial ideas if you can foresee anything I'm not considering.

Kind of like the oreo truffles? They're definitely crunchy and not cakey.

I missed that they were completely crunchy. Depending on what you want to make for the bake sale, I think you could mix something like that into a rice crispy treat, or you could  do half that mixture and half cake for a cake ball. I am not sure what oreo truffles are, but that might work too. Or you could the rice crispy mixture and make those into balls and dip them in chocolate.

I wonder if it was actually the butter or the sugar you mis-measured, rather than the flour. Hmm.

But anyhow, sounds like just about anything you'd crumble cookies for could fit the bill. They'd probably be a hit on top of frosted cupcakes. Or as the center of an ice cream cake. Chocolate silk pie with cookie streusel. Ooooh, individual pudding parfaits in clear plastic cups, bet that would be a hot seller.

Did you cream the butter and sugar really well before adding any other ingredients? Sounds like your dough might have separated.

As for the truffle suggestion, you can add a bit of frosting to the crumbles to add some moisture and then roll and dip- kind of like a cake pop.

I like your idea of using it for ice cream sundae topping; sounds like it'd be delicious!

If they're crispy, you could roll them out into crumbs and combine them with PB or cream cheese. Then dip them in chocolate as either cake balls or cookie balls. I love those because they seem fancy but aren't. And they can live in the freezer for a week or 2 if you have too many.

Put them into a food processor and grind into a fine crumb, mix with cream cheese, form into balls and dip into candy melts.

Could you make some type of cookie trail mix? Throw in some nuts, crasins, m&ms and put it in baggies to sell? Does it taste good enough to do that?

Crumbled up with bright colored m&ms and sell in ziplocks as ice cream topping?

I like the idea of putting them in the food processor and using them as a crust for something. In HS, I worked at Mrs. Fields and we used day old cookies to make the bottom of our peanut butter bars. It was very cold dough and I feel confident in the creaming. I think it was a ratio issue and my guess is flour because I can remember doubling correctly for everything else, but since I was feeding in flour more slowly, I think it's the most likely place I lost track.
