britta , so jealous. The government basically thinks that we are very, very rich and therefore we aren't eligible for a lot of exemptions which is hysterical considering our monthly cash flow. Fuck, high COLAs. The cost of daycare kills us. $2600/month is ridiculous.
I wish there was a way to index the personal deductions and tax rates for COL. We're in a similar boat. Obviously very very lucky, but we're still in a position that incremental money back would mostly be spent, so economically us paying moderately lower taxes would make sense.
I still support higher taxes. I just want the free early childhood education and healthcare that would make the higher taxes possible.
We're sitting in rush hour traffic heading downtown to meet my grandparents. We've been on the highway for like .3 miles and MH is already raging out. HALP ME.
But really, this is why I can't do the city. I would...not be a happy person if I had to deal with this everyday.

My recruiter got in touch with me this evening to tell me that they have 2 more interviews on Tuesday of next week but that I am "still at the top of the list". I'm not sure I believe this (the second part). It just seems to me they haven't found what they're looking for so they keep extending the interview period. I pretty much feel like this particular job is a bust.
Did they add in extra calories for nursing? How do you keep track/ meal plan? Any supply issues?
So basically the way it works is that you are allotted a certain number of "points" per day to eat (with some extra over the week that you can use whenever). You can earn more by exercising. I keep track in their AP. The points formula takes into account how healthy a food is to some extent (fruits and veggies are zero), so it's a modified calorie counting. You get a lot of extra points for exclusive nursing.
I don't think supply issues? Maybe? I don't know. The kid started not sleeping as much right around when I started, but it's also 4 months and I went back to work. Either way, I've lost 20lbs since January 1 so it seems to be doing something.
I did weight watchers a long time ago before they changed their points. Do you pay for the app or have to sign up in store or online and then can have access?
