Just relaxing, watching west world on hbogo. Mil took DD1 yesterday and she spent the night there, it's so much easier just having one and the baby is so much more relaxed than a crazy toddler. I feel bad not really missing DD1 but I needed a break.
carrots I really want mh to bring our treadmill in the house somewhere. It's currently in the garage from when we moves in October and we don't have a really great place to put it inside. I would love to start walking on it. Are you doing C25K on a treadmill or outside? Random, but has anyone seen the commercial for the simply fit board? I need to tone up my stomach, after 2 I've def got the saggy tummy and I'm tempted to buy it for toning. I'm sure it's gimmicky but I would just be out 39.95 so nbd right?

Morning! New couch was delivered! Hooray! But the house is a mess due to moving things around. Good thing my mom is here to help. We will probably spend the morning tidying up and then go out for lunch before a nap.

Hi! It's our first quiet day here all week. Mh is in the middle of his work stretch so he's sleeping and won't be pushing us to do something today. We are currently hanging out in the living room, dd is playing with her kitchen, I'm drinking lukewarm coffee and we are listening to Toddler radio on pandora. I'm trying to have a tv freeze right now, every time we go near a tv dd requests/demands a "show!"

carrots hope you get a nap in, enjoy dinner at the ILs!
vlagroupie enjoy your single baby parenting today! I have been thinking how nice it would be to have dd stay the night somewhere else but my parents really able to do that and she has never slept anywhere but her bed, other than traveling. Also, is that board the thing from the shark tank lady?
heybulldog56 yay for a new couch, what did you get?
judyblume14 I'm glad you are starting to get to do some of your old things and feel more like yourself! I don't have the motivation yet to do anything like that.

Third night in a row where E slept from about 1am until 7ish. I fed her around 7:30 and she is just starting to wake up again now. I got a real good night of sleep for once. It would be better if I didn't have to wake up to pump but oh well. H has hockey so it's going to be a long day. No real plans other than making a vegetarian chicken noodle soup. I use veggie broth instead of chicken broth and tofu cubes instead of chicken.

Was planning to take the kids for a walk, set the baby in his bassinet to get dressed and get my wrap on, came back and he was asleep. Glad I didn't tell the toddler about the walk.
We decided to go to our vacation house for the long weekend. There's some renovation work that we need to finish up before we have guests there for Easter. DH went ahead in his car with some construction material and I took both kids during Bs first nap (it's a 2 hr drive). Now both kids are fed and we have a miraculous double nap going on. I'm pretty proud of myself.
The inlaws were over this morning so I could go out and about. It was so nice to do things without having any kids. They stayed till naptime so now ds is sleeping and dd is sleeping on me while I relax on the couch. I'll take it.
Pretty sure I caught the kids crud. My throats feels icky and I'm developing a cough. Sighs. I just want the baby to be better and less congested. She's still so tiny. It breaks my heart that she's sick.

Yeah I didn't watch the shark tank episode, but the commercial said it was on the show.
N was up three times and went to bed late. I'm exhausted and was late to my appointment. Infection is finally turning a corner and almost healed. I'm so ready to be done with all these appointments for me and N.
She's a month old today which means I have a little over two months of leave left. It's going by fast.
DD would literally watch Daniel Tiger all day if I'd let her. I try to leave it for special occasions because after watching TV she gets especially cranky and more tantrum prone.

N slept through most of dinner. She's still fussy today. I thought it was poop/gas but now I'm not sure. She'll settle back down if you hold her and then you can put her down and she'll sleep more. But that's not gonna work overnight.
peaseblossom55, that's awesome she's sleeping that well!! So glad you got to take advantage of it!
ellabee, I hope you got to nap during your double nap! A long weekend away sounds awesome!
lakegirl, sorry about the cold but glad you got some you time. I hope the baby gets better soon, I can't imagine how you feel with her being so tiny.
silvermelody, glad you're on the mend and the infection is looking better. Fx you get better sleep tonight.
We had a busy two days here so I've been very lurky here. C has spoiled me with decent stretches of sleep and I've been able to predict her naps and get work done. My uncle bought her a swing yesterday and she slept really good in it today. I'd had my mom come over because I had some work that needed to be done but she slept great so mom just hung out and watched tv. Nbd, she only lived 5 mins away. Our friends came over with their toddler tonight for a bit because the dads needed time for their neglected bromance and it was nice to sit and have a glass of wine with my friend. Their kid was so busy and all over though, I don't know how you guys are doing it.
Now we're just going with the bedtime routine we've sort of defaulted to and I'm hoping it results in another good night.
Ugh. When I say I'm bringing up a bottle of formula with my pump stuff, that does not mean continue holding the fussy baby while I pump and let him fuss.
We just got a 5 hour stretch! I also pumped for the first time to start building up my stash. I got 4 oz with my manual pump while nursing on the other side before I stopped. Definitely not bad. It hurt though, so I'm thinking maybe I need larger flanges? Or maybe it was just dark and I couldn't get a good fit.
Wow rinny! 4 oz is awesome! I don't respond well to pumping at all and have a hard time getting an oz at a time so I'm definitely jealous.
MH and I got into a giant blowout fight tonight because he was being a dick and I called him out on it. I shouldn't have fed into it because he'd been drinking and I just kept letting him talk instead of walking away. Instead I let the argument keep going while the baby was sleeping and I should've been so now instead of being up from a nice 5 hour stretch, I barely slept 2 hours of it 😐. Tomorrows gonna be great.
