Do you guys do push ups with elbows out to the side or elbows back? I've been doing elbows back because that's how we do them in yoga but I think maybe that makes them harder?

I'm doing standard push-ups (out to the side) because we do tricep push-ups (elbows back) in PiYo. I actually find tricep push-ups easier, but I am lacking in upper body strength.
