DH told me to sleep in but M woke up coughing a bunch at 7 and I couldn't fall back asleep. He said he could take her to gymnastics but I think I will go too. It's fun to watch her.

Good morning ladies! Today we are doing laundry from vacation. We are also going grocery shopping and to toys r us. My cousins daughter is turning 2 tomorrow so I have to get her a gift and MH wants to look at new monitors. I want to print some photos too.
How bad is it if I bring my boogery kid to playgroup?
That depends on other symptoms to me. Any fever, diarrhea, vomiting or not acting like their normal self means don't bring the kid. If it's just a runny nose, I say go. Kids have runny noses basically all winter. If we waiting until their was absolutely no boogers, there would be no interaction at all between kids.
I'm going to try to not die during my life and pump class this morning. Then I'm off today which rarely happens on a Saturday so hopefully we'll do something fun.
I'm at work and then off to my bff son's first birthday! Tomorrow we are focusing on work around the house to get ready for baby. FX we got some stuff accomplished, I can't take it!

Starting to feel human again after that awful flu or whatever it was.
DH has taken J to his moms for the day/night so I can have a little time to recuperate and for myself. I'll end up using it to clean the house and do errands but such is life.
It's a long weekend here so hopefully we can do something fun together on Monday.

Yeah, this. I took my coughing kid to gymnastics this morning. She's had none of that other stuff, just the cough so meh.
So shopping for vacation clothes was a bust but W got like 6 summer jammies...
I have like no summer maternity clothes because it was cold enough in May to not need shorts, etc. None of the stores around here have great selections as it is, add in needing summer stuff and you're SOL. Guess I'll try online, I just end up needing to return 90% of what I get usually.

Cosign. I felt soooo guilty the first time I brought A to a music class when she was a little snotty, then 2 of the other kids coughed before I even had to wipe her nose. It's just that time of the year.
I'm trying to not buy C new clothes until the mega consignment sale next month but it's sooooo hard!
My favourite one isn't happening until April 8...arrgh!!! I never spend more than $5 on any one thing (and that's the high side) and I always get good stuff.
The kid's clothes at my local consignment sales generally aren't in great shape (though I do sometimes find gems) but this time I'm excited because I can get M a bunch of very cheap play condition clothes to go to the sitter's in. Love our sitter, including that she lets M and her daughter get into huge messes, but it is hard on her clothes. I hate sending her there in stuff I actually like.

Do you have any consignment sales coming up near you? All of the kid ones around here usually have a section of maternity clothes too!
I've never consignment shopped. I'll have to research that!

H is working this weekend. R and I went to the library this morning to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. Then we walked a few blocks to get pizza for lunch.

There are definitely certain things that don't get worn to DC for this reason! Our sitter probably think she has a total of five outfits because she wears the same ones every week.
Haha, yeah, M wears the same few outfits on loop too. And then we run into them all the time at other things and M's wearing totally different stuff so she must know 😄

GAH, I'm dropping A off at the ILs for a visit this aft so of course she is taking a long nap. She yelled for a while before sleeping, so I guess that didn't help. Yesterday she was up at 2 on the nose because of course she was.

My favorite consignment sale is March 8. I already took off from work and told my mom to put it on her calendar so she can babysit and I can go alone.
