I hope no one is up to see this...Sending sleepy vibes out to everyone!!
B gave me a first stretch of 4.5 hrs. Man did I need that. But then i nursed him and after the second side he had a massive poop. 😬I feel bad that I contemplated leaving him in it because he was passed out.
I'm down for a motn thread! I'm up trying to psych myself up to go to the bathroom before they bring LO back. I'm so comfy but I know I have to get up lol.

I'm game for a motn thread too. We're up for our first feeding. He's been waking up every 2.5-3 hours. I'm praying tonight it's easier to get him back to sleep after every feeding.

Lol you poor thing. I'm most available/responsive in the motn due to E's cluster feedings.
So I'm down for a motn thread.
4.5 hours sounds glorious. I can't wait to hit that stretch of time. After a long night of cluster feeding last night, E have me 3 hours which was great. Sadly I got in virtually no other naps all day.
I wonder how long cluster feeding will last for us.
Present for a motn thread! I'm up for feeding number one. This LO wakes up less than DS, but the wake ups last forever. Nurses for eternity. Poops every time.
So LO basically just went 6 hours. Fed her around 8, she was fussy until 10, then she slept on DH until 1:45. Whyyyyy can't she sleep like that in her bassinet? Guarantee she will be up at 445 and will probably not settle down in her own bed after that. Lady!! Listen!! Sleep is awesome!!

shellbell I've gotten better about that for sure. The problem is that E doesn't often sleep for 2+ hours at a time with all this cluster feeding.
Last night she slept for 3 hours straight so I woke her up to nurse. Then she fell back asleep and I totally misjudged it. I thought she'd sleep for maybe 20 mins so I started housework. One task turned into two and next thing you know she had slept for another two hours, which I could've slept through!
Twins BOTH went 3 hours....my alarm I have been using as a maybe someday I'll need this actually went off! Even if the rest of the night is a cluster got a solid 2.5 hours Os sleep.
loves2shop4shoes- glad you are starting to get better at sleeping when you can. The cluster feeds are super hard. There's a link to a development/milestone tracker in another thread that maybe useful to look at as cluster feeding is normally a sign of a growth spurt.
@elllabee- I hate when they poop during a feeding (we change before the feed ). Feel so bad waking them back up...

I nursed at 8, 10:45, and now (3:15)...hoping she sleeps now until 6 or 7. I've got another full day of both the babes with no DH--and I'm hoping my toddler wakes up happy. I'm also hoping my husband cleaned up after having friends over last night. There was quite a bit of drinking happening and he must have decided to sleep in the guest room or downstairs. Must be nice...just clean up after yourself and I don't even care.
Speaking of poop I really need to poop and I can't. It's making things so much worse for me. Strongest contractions yet but they aren't super close together. But I think today might be the day.
I'm up again...but not for nursing #2 with B. DD woke because she peed through her pull-up and was all wet. Sigh. Guarantee that as soon as I fall asleep B will be up. They're teaming up on me tonight lol.

shellbell yup. Sometimes I wonder if baby has a breathing problem, but it's completely normal. Just add it on to the list of things that keep you sleep deprived in fourth trimester. Does anyone else wake up feeling like a giant bruise? I feel like all my muscles disintegrated during pregnancy and now I'm just a really sore blob. ETA good sleep vibes to everyone awake now.
Ah sweet relief! At least one thing is better now lol!
My shower is amazing. I ran out of hot water so I'm taking a break for a bit but the shower I hated with a firey passion when we moved (it's a plastic insert type of shower) is my BFF this morning. I'm calling labor and not the fake stuff. These contractions are no joke. I'm letting H sleep for now because he's useless to me if he's tired but I think we'll be heading into the hospital in a few hours.
Well LO1 woke up so had to lay with her for a bit. I'd told DH who was on twin duty next feed was at 4 am so set an alarm on my phone for 4:30 just in case. Yepp 5am and just now feeding the twins....ugh. He just doesn't get that he's really not helping by letting them fuss for an hour isn't ideal since both are low weight babies yet.
Got both babes latched and lil G pooped. Sent DH back to get him for a diaper change. Please lil guy-girl no more poops this session. Momma and daddy want some sleep before LO1 is up for the day.
