I'm here. I'm working today and tomorrow then off the rest of the week. Although my weeks are all pretty short right now, I still can't wait for work to be 100% done.

I should check the mail more often. We got a letter in the mail (postmarked the 14th) that DS has been accepted into the four day a week afternoon preschool program. This is as a regular student. We find out on the 10th if they have accepted him under the speech program. In which case he will still be on the same four day a week schedule, but will have a therapist and tuition would be free. Much excite for him. He's loved it there the three times we've been so far.
I know they're sending me more info in August, but I assume they don't get lunch, since they're only there for 2.5 hours? And what goes in their cute little backpacks? Tagging babylove518 & chrispy1122 since I know they have experience with kids in half day preschool.

sstwinklinglites the twins just have a change of clothes and a folder in their backpack (one side says take home and the other side is return to school). They don't get lunch... Just snack. Expect him to be very tired for a couple of weeks after school! Sometimes girl twin is still so exhausted after school that I immediately send her to bed to have some down time once she gets home. Lol
I'm doing mass organizing and cleaning today since I'm off and boys are at the sitters. The big made the drive over in his big boy undies. It's oddly bittersweet. All these little signs of him growing up... 😢

Thanks everyone!
I'd be a little worried putting him down for a nap after school babylove518. We wouldn't be getting home until close to 4PM, and I don't want a super late bedtime.
bazingaa - I'm so anxious to PT DS. I just feel like I need to not be training someone so I can make sure I have the time to put him on the potty every hour or whatever. I know he's ready and just needs a little help.

sstwinklinglites, I don't let her nap... Usually I just let her play on her kindle for 30 min or so. She just needs that quiet time to herself after the craziness of school.

Trying to get some quiet time while baby naps. But my fil came over to look at our dryer and won't leave. Scary thing with the dryer, the plug was burning in the outlet, it could have started a freaking fire. We've got an electrician coming by today, and the breaker is turned off. But geez that could have been bad.

sstwinklinglites no lunch just snack. We keep a change of clothes in her cubby at school. Evelyn comes back with her backpack crammed full of drawings, letters, etc. that she worked on at school. I think the kids get to pick some of what they do, and she always draws/writes. I have no idea where her folder is. I just stick stuff that needs to go back in there and tell E to make sure to give it to her teacher.

I haven't I held off bc it said not to use while pregnant. Then I was going to do it the other day and googled if safe while bf'ing and I wasn't sure. What say you?

I think I did it while BFing. I don't think I ever thought twice about it, but I've never heard of any skin care products being unsafe during BFing. There are a few things that people avoid during pregnancy, but I never really paid attention to that either (FFMC?). But I understand your hesitation. Whenever you're ready for it, you won't regret it

Yeah it's probably nbd but I'm so paranoid with things re: bf'ing. With N I had horrible acne, went to the dermatologist hoping to get medicine and he refused to give me anything bc I was bf'ing.

I just did some reading and it seems that the salicylic acid and increased skin sensitivity while pregnant is why it's not recommended while pg. If it was me I'd do it while buying but TETO.
