I can't believe I'm saying this but my time in this check in is winding down. Last week is my last check in, so if someone could volunteer to take over the check ins that would be great!

How old is baby? 11.5 months

How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD 6-8 x 24 hrs, solids 3x... I think I'm offering too much... on Saturday we were super busy and she only nursed like 5 times, I am hoping after a to cut back on offering so much and really wait for her to ask. She is a major boob girl so I don't see this leading to a huge reduction but maybe a session or two.

How are nights? Ok. 1 wake up around 3-4, I am working myself up to letting her cio a bit to see if she will fall back on her own. It's just such a pain... 5 min of nursing vs 20 min of crying, etc but if it works it will be worth it!

How is pumping/nursing going? Great. I can't believe we are almost at a year. It's been amazing and also a lot, I have literally done every single feeding over the last year. LO has never had a bottle which makes me feel both proud and crazy...

GTKY: how many teeth does your LO have? 4. She got the first 2 at like 5 months and then just got the last 2 a few weeks ago.

DD is 10 months old today!

We are nursing 5 times a day usually. Solids 3x a day but I'm going to add a snack in starting this week I think.

Nights are awesome! She is sleeping through the night most nights.

Nursing is great.

I'm leaving her for 4 days next week and she still won't take a bottle. So much mommy guilt leaving her. 😢

How old is baby? 9 months

How often are you nursing? Solids? 6 to 8 times during the day and off and on at night. Solids usually once a day, sometimes more. Just depends how lazy I am and what I'm eating. She gets more snacks than meals.

How are nights? Rough. She's not nursing at night like she used to. She wakes herself up crying and or kicking. Or does it in her sleep until I rock her back to a deeper sleep. She'll occasionally nurse when I lay her back down after rocking her. It's been rough lately.

How is pumping/nursing going? Pretty well. She's stopped nursing to sleep as often and wants to be rocked to sleep instead which sucks, but we're working on it.

How old is baby? 7 months today!

How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD when we are together, and he gets 3 bottles while I'm at work. Solids are twice a day now.

How are nights? Okay. He's got croup again so I'm hoping we don't have a full blown regression. We are down to 1-2 wake ups and I can live with that.

How is pumping/nursing going? Pumping is still terrible. He drinks 9 oz while I'm away at work and I can't pump that. If I pump 4 times I can get 7-8 oz. I'm blowing through my freezer stash.

Nursing is going fine. Occasionally he gets frustrated if my letdown is slow. Switching sides or trying again in 10-15 minutes helps. He's also a very distracted nurser. He was on a little nursing strike yesterday and I finally got him to nurse side lying in my bed with the lights off and white noise on.

Q/rants/cute stories: he just bit the crap out of me during his MOTN session. Like...actually gnawing on my nipple. Thank goodness for Earth Mamma Nipple Butter. I use that stuff more now then when he was a newborn!

GTKY: how many teeth does your LO have? 2 but I think he's working on more. He took about a month to pop his first two teeth so I'm hoping it doesn't take as long this time. It was miserable.

How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing 2-3 times/day, 3 bottles of BM while I'm at work and 3 meals, sometimes a snack

How are nights? Great! I nursed a couple nights this weekend because she was sick, otherwise, she STTN.

How is pumping/nursing going? Nursing is still going great, but I'm having a harder time keeping up with pumping while at work. I used to pump about 22 oz while at work, but now I'm only getting 10-12 oz. Thank goodness for my freezer stash!

How often are you nursing? Solids? I am starting to wean so we are at 5-6 nursing sessions and 3 meals plus 1-2 snacks a day.

How are nights? Awesome! She's been sttn for a few weeks now.

How is pumping/nursing going? Great! I wish she would drink wcm better, but we're working on it.

Q/rants/cute stories I came up a little short on my donation goal. I ended up donating 463.5 oz total. My goal was 500 oz, but I essentially stopped responding to the pump and accepted that I did an awesome thing when TJ what I was able to donate.

halfahippy you did an amazing job!!!

Do you do smoothies at all for LO? We haven't tried plain WCM but we've have had a lot of success with smoothies made with yogurt and WCM.

She sometimes gets to share my banana oatmeal smoothie, but I use chocolate almond milk in those. She does love yogurt though! I'll have to make something up.

pttomato I asked my pedi this at her 6 month appt bc I was worried about it, she seemed to like it a lot(and still does), the doctor said a couple oz is fine, she couldn't get that much out of a sippy cup until maybe 2 months ago anyway... I think now at almost a year, with unrestricted access to water she only drinks about 4-6 oz or so in a day

DS also seems to love water. This past weekend he kept grabbing DDs sippy cup, my glass, or DHs water bottle. I finally started giving him his own. He loves it.
