4. Funniest comment anyone ever made to you about nursing? "I don't know how you can do that." - my grandmother who grew up on a DAIRY FARM of all places. She seems of the opinion that BFing is a nonsensical effort.

Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? I'm okay. DS (2.5) is having a hard time with me sometimes ending a feed before he's ready, but I think it's his age.

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? morning, naptime/quiettime since he doesn't nap anymore, bedtime, he would still nurse all day if I would let him

3. What are your LO's favorite foods (besides mommy's milk)? right now he loves yogurt, also pizza and he is a good soup eater

4. Funniest comment anyone ever made to you about nursing? my dad asked how long I would be able to keep my milk, like supply up. another one who grew up on a dairy farm, as did me mom. she and I were both, uh, supply and demand man.

Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? I go here now! No issues at this time, which I am thrilled about, and I hope that keeps up, because nursing is very important to DS and I. I am hoping to tandem if he is able to go that long, but we will see. I just mostly don't see him voluntarily weaning at this time.

1. How old is your LO? - he's 1. For one more week, he's still 1!

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? - 4+

3. What are your LO's favorite foods (besides mommy's milk)? - bananas, butter, peanut butter

4. Funniest comment anyone ever made to you about nursing? - I've told this one before I think. DS was 11mo and we were on a small airplane. It was a super early flight, and our seatmate was a guy in his early 20s. DS and our seatmate were playing and having a good time. When DS got sleepy, he turned to me and signed for milk.
Seatmate exclaimed "how cool! Just like Meet the Fockers; he's signing for boobs!"
His look of horror as he realized what he said, and subsequently what I was about to do, was priceless. He turned abruptly and stared out the window the rest of the flight haha.

10hr: go by myself to a restaurant & a movie. Maybe get my nails done or maybe play a video game.

3. What are your LO's favorite foods (besides mommy's milk)? Dried cranberries, butter, and chocolate- lol, a very balanced diet.
4. Funniest comment anyone ever made to you about nursing? All of them are from DS1. One from when he was 4-- "I don't want to talk about my day, I just want boobies." DH and I used to joke about how he would never stop nursing and trade ridiculous quotes back and forth, like, [in a deep voice]: "mom, i really need to have some boobies before i study for my driving test."

Non-BFing question of the week, suggested by lilyelayne: If you had 10 minutes totally to yourself what would you do? 10 hours? 10 minutes- probably just lie down on the sofa and enjoy resting without kids clambering all over me. 10 hours- hmmm, probably try to catch up on random organizing tasks at home. Also maybe shop for something elaborate to make for dinner, and then be able to make it uninterrupted.

1. 21 months old
2. It varies. The past few weeks she was down to only once per night and 2 times during day. Then the past 2 days she is 6 times per day and 3 times per night. I'm hoping this subsides soon.
3. Fave foods-cucumber sticks, Asian pear, frozen blueberries,frozen or warm peas, frozen or warm corn, edamame, seaweed snacks, any kind of soup. Least fave: cheese, bread
4. No one has ever joked to me about nursing or made a funny comment.
5. I'm a SAHM so don't get too much free time. I enjoy cooking during the day. When H gets home from work I love to go on a hike or walk the dogs by myself. I've also taken up ice skating recently so I push DD in the stroller while I skate. It's a great workout.

I am always days late to this...

1. How old is your LO? He'll be 15 months on Weds.
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? Work days 1-2 (before bed & either MOTN or a.m.), weekends 3-4 (before bed, before nap(s) and either MOTN or a.m.)
3. What are your LO's favorite foods (besides mommy's milk)? Cheese, yogurt, mac & cheese, pasta, blueberries, pickles
4. Funniest comment anyone ever made to you about nursing? I honestly can't think of anything other than MH and I making jokes about needing to wean before LO goes to college (I kid)

Non-BFing question: If you had 10 minutes totally to yourself what would you do? Rest my eyes 10 hours? Lunch alone, mani/pedi, shopping, dinner alone - OR - rent a hotel room for the day and sleep allllll day (could never do at home b/c I'd feel like I needed to clean or do laundry)

NonBF - 10min I'd hop right in the shower! 10 hours I'd go get my hair cut and have a spa day.

I totally forgot to answer these but the funniest comment ever said to me was "your nipples look great for breastfeeding". Ummmm why are you looking at my nipples?! It was when w was little and popping off all the time and it was a friend of mine but dang it made me so uncomfortable. She also mentioned a cream that would get my breasts "back in shape".
