mominthemaking14 hey lady, how are you feeling? Did ms hit you yesterday? Did you know the dairy whip is opening next week, I'm super excited for ice cream. It's seems early to open but I'm not going to complain.

Hey!! So far so good. Heartburn and craving ice cream are my symptoms. Can't wait for dairy whip to open, let's take the kids. How's N back to normal? When's your leave over?

Yes, ice cream field trip! N is pretty much back to normal, her cough is hanging on a little bit still, how about A? I'm officially taking 2 kids to DC starting March 27. I'll probably ease into that first week part time with the baby and the following week my parents are in town for N's bday so I'm not working that week. So, ft at work for me starts April 10, time is flying. FFFC: Is it bad that I'm kinda looking forward to going back?? I guess I get bored at home sometimes and miss adult interaction during the day. I'm sure after a couple weeks back I will take that statement back.

Yes it's bad.
I will miss not showering first thing in the morning, yoga pants and baby of course. Don't hate me, but my schedule is very flexible. I don't have to be at work until 10 and I'm having MH take N early so she doesn't miss circle time and then I'll take baby later. So the logistics aren't so crazy for me in the morning. ETA: and I have an office with a door now so I can close the door, pump and still do work if I want to.

I don't think that's bad. That's how I feel going back to work every August. Even when Bub was only 2.5 months old, I was so ready to go back. And even before kids when I could literally do anything I wanted during the summer. I just get bored
mominthemaking14, thanks for asking, he's doing fine. He was completely 100% normal all day yesterday, until right before bedtime I thought he felt warm, but he didn't have a fever. I gave him some Tylenol anyway and put him to bed and he slept all night and seemed fine today, so he went to daycare.
It's awesome mominthemaking14! Painting was finished yesterday, most of the boxes that are here are unpacked, now ready to decorate!!
That's awesome! I still have pictures and other home accents sitting around my living room. I need someone to come in and tell me where to put everything and hang it. I suck at hanging stuff and mh is not much better. Maybe I can hire JoBub to do that ;-)

It's all of it. The morning is just as bad as the evening. Washing bottles and pump parts or at least getting them in the dishwasher and fridge, getting everything ready and then cooking dinner with two. Just a little more juggling. Some days it doesn't feel so bad but it mostly is a blur of work. I feel like I work 15 hours/ day, watch 1 hour of tv, and then try to sleep/ get woken up all night.

The trade off with the morning being kinda breezy is that evenings are going to suck since I don't get home until later. I don't look forward to motn wakings and then having to get my ass up in the morning and be chipper at work and sell crap. So yeah that is going to suck.

Just splitting up drop off between two people will make it easier though. And I can usually pull the baby into bed and sleep in so if you don't have to be there until 10, that will be really nice. Plus you've got extra time to get things together if you didn't get to them in the evening.

LOL I still have pretty much nothing on the walls at my house either. And I hang most things with command strips.

Popping in to say hi. Work has been a very long sprint this week. I was in the office until 9 and then had to be in for an early call. Kids slept at my moms (she does pick up on Thursday's and was nice enough to take them in this morning). She was just going to come over in the AM to get the kids and drop them off so I could leave early. Buuuuut the kids didn't want to come home with me when I went to get them last night. MOTY.

Sounds like a great schedule. No judgement. I totally take 10 weeks and the last 1.5 weeks I'm home relaxing. I can't be home that long. I usually start taking coaching clients at week 5 lol I have a problem I know.

Oh good. Our doctor has told us to use Advil first for fevers at their age. Strange right. But glad he's great.

mominthemaking14 thanks for the call out. I'm finally doing more than watching someone work this week and I really do love it. The project management aspect is a little intimidating, but I'm sure it will get easier as I find my footing.
TGIF. Wish the nice weather today was saved for tomorrow!!! I've been so exhausted after work that it's tough to really enjoy the nice weather in the evenings. I took my exhaustion out on H last night. :/ he does a lot to keep our house and DD afloat so I need to just shut it.

We made the decision last night to put off the purchase of the house one more year. Fine. But now DH wants to downgrade to a two bedroom place. The savings can be considerable, yes, but I'm having a really hard time picturing making that work, and it's stressing me out. I threw up my breakfast this morning, and I hadn't thrown up in weeks, so I'm thinking stress.

I'm sure you can make it work. We're all spoiled with the low COL in the midwest, but there are tons of people in the world raising kids in 2-bedroom homes. If you can splurge on some super functional furniture when you move in, you can definitely manage this. You don't need an office anymore, the baby can be in your room for a long time, and there are lots of creative storage solutions when you need the living room/playroom to be the same space. You got this.
