+2 for a gassy baby. DH keeps trying to pass him off on the boob. Dude, they aren't the only way to stop him from crying. Quit using them as a cop out.

DD just popped off the boob after feeding and made a squeaking sound like a deflating balloon. I forgot how cute baby noises can be 💖. Maybe it's the happy hormones talking. Either way, I'll take it. Sleepy vibes to all the babies tonight.

This is so my DH too! Also, he is the least patient person I know. So if the baby fusses for more than 2 minutes he's convinced he's "colicky." It's really annoying given I that I'm nursing/on maternity leave so I'm with the baby and handling any fussiness 90% of the time.
We are up for our first feeding of the night after an unintentional 4 hr stretch. I don't believe N is able to go longer than 3 hrs between feeds yet because he's still not technically on the growth chart from being a preemie. He's close though.
Holy hell the engorgement I felt on my right boob when I woke up was unbelievable. I didn't pump at all yesterday because I thought we were having some good nursing sessions but this would tell me otherwise. Although sometimes I think I still have an oversupply.

I don't even know what tonight is....too tired to put R down in her crib. I'm determined to get her in there so I can actually sleep, so I'm sitting up nursing and reading here. I'm also disgustingly uncomfortable because I'm so hot and sweaty.
Emotional tonight. LO1 got all dressed for bed by herself, didn't need any help which while is a good thing and helpful in the long term just hit me that phase with her may be over now.
Doesn't look like we'll be getting much sleep tonight. Last feeding was at 10:30 and Miss O was up 45 minutes later. Now another 45 and both are up. Ugh- I was thinking the growth spurt wover....maybe not.

DS can't seem to get past the hiccups tonight and he's pissed. I'm trying to sleep while DH has him out on the couch but I can hear him crying through the walls. It's not a fun night so far.

Hi ladies! I'm crashing the party to let you know that there will be another baby born today as I have been up all night in labor. 4 cm dilated and just got the epidural. I am going to see if I can sleep for a bit.

Fussy girl wouldn't go down until after midnight tonight. She stayed down until about 3, and since DH works tomorrow I had to handle the MOTN feed/pump on my own which meant it took twice as long. Hopefully she'll give me another good stretch until 7 or so. I overdid jr yesterday and hurt all over between the mastitis and back spasms...

Up for a second feed. So sweaty it's almost unbelievable. I am sleeping on one of those absorbent pads from the hospital to try and save the mattress. +1 to feeling like DD1 is so big now. I haven't been able to rock her to sleep for the past month. Last night was the first time since baby was born and she seemed so huge! It makes me sad that she's my "big girl" now and no longer a baby. ETA good luck crazycatlady6! Hope it all goes smoothly for you and LO tonight!

Woohoo! Good luck lady!! Can't wait for more babies!!
DH took both babies for a bit and laid with them in the basement to give me so w sleep. Funny that I was worried about LO1 being scared due to the storm =nope. Scared on a normal night =yepp. Currently 2 adults and 3 children in my bed.

Add me to the baby watch group! These contractions are killer and annoyingly close together..even though I suspect I have a ways to go. Waiting for grandparents to arrive, then we're off to the hospital!
L, my big eater, only ate 1.5-2oz. That usually isn't enough. I hope he actually sleeps. M, otoh, is packing away the formula.
How much are they drinking? Our doctor told us not to go over 2oz but clearly the babies want more when they finish that amount and won't settle back to sleep unless they get more.
So now we are just letting the babies decide...
I feed them as much as they want, same as with the last set. I figure if they eat too much, it'll come back up. If I stuck to the 32oz/day guideline with Rory he would have been a hungry little mess of a baby.

My husband took S for the 5:00am feed and gave her a bottle. I just checked on them and they are both passed out in the guest room bed. I can't decide if I should be worried about the sleep safety violation or not. Gut feeling says it's fine but I don't want to be flippant with my baby's safety.
