The two-year-old woke up at 4 AM, asking for ice cream cones and Ipad. Ummm no. Thankfully he fell back asleep! We had a play date this morning and I think my H is coming home early, woohoo.

Me! I have a dish of chocolate on my desk that is not being eaten by me. I "had" to have two pieces last week because they never got wrapped before they were bagged somehow and nearly barfed. I'm coming around some, but too much sugar is actually very not what I want, despite my previous addiction to it.

Randoms intimidates me like I am walking up to a group of people in a deep conversation and I'm rasing my hand to be called on or interrupting.
I need to get over it! Everyone is so nice here. So this is me dipping my toe in the water. Maybe I'll sit on the ledge an dangle feet in a second if I don't get the awful remorse feeling when I click post.

Complete opposite. I only want sugary foods. I stuffed a half of sleeve of thin mints into a glass of a almond milk and used a spoon like it was cereal for my snack. It was heavenly. What I really want is a French Silk Pie from Baker's Square.

It's a very "jump in, the water's fine!" kind of thing, but I totally understand the hesitance. Just say what pops into your mind, we all are. ;)

I'm all in now. Heads under. Everyone knows I want Baker Square Pie now so it's official!

I usually love me some sugar but pregnancy - nope. Two boxes of Girl Scout cookies uneaten. My mom bought a cheesecake for my birthday in mid-February. I ate a slice to humor everyone but really wanted none of it!

With my first two I had major sugar aversions until mid-2nd tri. Then I was a milkshake a day kind of girl. And my first was an amazing sleeper. DD2 just started sleeping though the night at 19 months. Both have been fairly happy kids, once we got the milk protein intolerance figured out though.
I finally got the energy to get outside and start getting my garden ready for spring today, it was helpful in getting me motivated to do other things like clean my disastrous kitchen.
Also, H and I went for a walk today in the super wind, and of course I managed to get something in my eye. I fucked with it for so long that finally I just accepted my fate as a one-eyed lady. This is an actual, real life gif of me being assaulted.

I'm really hoping LO2 is my unicorn baby. LO1 didn't sleep through the night until around 14 months and it almost killed me. He was colicky, had jaundice, dairy aversion while nursing, etc. all little things in the grand scheme of things but I'm praying for the unicorn type baby I've heard myths about this time around.

I am also jelly I do not get to go to the doctor for a month!! Why did I say a later appointment was ok! WHY!
I did this too! They offered me an appointment for this week (back a few weeks ago) and I asked them to push it back a week since I wanted to be closer to 8 weeks and I'm only 6 going on 7 today. It sounded like a good idea at the time. Waiting a month more would practically be torture though. Sending patience vibes your way!

Yes! Not all sweets, just chocolate I've had a bag of peanut butter M&Ms sitting in my pantry for weeks and I wish I wanted them, but just the thought of them makes me queasy.

Me too! My first appointment isn't until the 14. Last time we did fertility treatments so I had all the appointments and got to have an ultrasound at 7 weeks. This time I'll be 8 weeks before seeing my doctor.
DD woke up 3-7 times a night until she was 1. She's been a pretty decent sleeper since then but never ever a good napper. She's been trying to drop naps completely since 17mo and she usually only does about 1 short nap a week now (2.5yrs)
I really hope the twins will be better sleepers than she was but with two at once I don't think that's likely.

Yes to sugary aversions. I went through the drive through on Monday intending to get a milkshake. Left with a chicken sandwich instead. This is so opposite from my first pregnancy where I ate cake literally almost every day.

I can't handle sweets right now. I really thought that I wanted cake. I sent my husband to the grocery store to buy a small cake. He brought it home and I had three bites

Usually by this time of night, I'm either getting ready for bed or already in sleeping. I'm sooo awake right now. I haven't felt this awake since before my 17 month old. I feel like I could stay awake for days.

DS will be the death of me. He doesn't care at all that I'm in 1st tri and taking unisom for nausea, he is going through the 18 month sleep regression a month late right now.

Ugh that's the worst! I've been telling DH I want something and then changing my mind 10 minutes later for like 2 weeks.

+1 to easy 1st child, and almost certain 2nd child will be complete opposite.
I got the biggest craving for fruit yesterday. I stopped by Target and bought a thing of strawberries, bag of pink lady apples, and a bag of pears. I ate all the strawberries in one sitting. Followed by an apple. Then a pear. #noregrets #pleasehelpmepoop
gamergirl360, Wish I had cravings like that! Nothing sounds good to me at all in the last week! I've been forcing myself to eat meals just because. Although a pear does sound good right now! I will seize the opportunity. Later!
