Where is the time going??

My day started with the toddler telling me "Dada home, Mama go work." Thanks, kid. 🙄 But, we leave for our ski trip tomorrow so it can't be all bad, right?

Lots to check off the to do list today. Dh is calling to get pre-approved for the builder's loan, and I have to go talk to our builder about upgrades and start finding a realtor to sell our house. Plus all the last minute packing and laundry.

It's a nasty rainy day here today. We're snuggling in our bed. But I need to get up and get ready for clinicals.
I actually slept half decent last night after a hot bath so that was much appreciated.

Not much for me today, tried making glue slime with the kids but it didn't work. I should have read the directions better because I did it wrong. I have dinner in the crock pot so that is a plus. Baby B is such a good napper during the day so I have been able to get stuff done.

First full day at work. I got up early and decided to get myself ready and bags packed before waking Leo up.  I thought I heard him wake up but he never came looking for me. So, I head over to the bedroom and find him in the kitchen Swiftering.   I wish I had the wet wipes, I would've put one on since he was at it for a good 10 minutes. 

I need to figure out the meal plan for this week. We're supposed to go get groceries when I get home. Not enough time on the weekend.

littlelion I need some new meal ideas too. I am in a rut and since DH works all day I feel like I should have something ready for when he gets home. I did do a lemon chicken in the crock pot today, we will see how it goes.

In more exciting news, LO is starting preschool in two weeks! She was accepted into a speech therapy/play based school program and I could not be happier. We've toured a few times and she really seems to like it. The light at the end of the tunnel is within my sights!

DH and I have been busy all weekend. We got almost everything out of storage #2 and into storage #1. We donated and threw enough stuff, we have plenty of room for the pool table. DH just needs to get his butt on finding friends to help move it by end of day tomorrow.

We also went house hunting. Saw 9 on Saturday morning. We put in an offer on a house, and it got accepted!! The kitchen needs work, but I know how to DIY pretty decently. It does need new appliances, but we'll have to replace one at a time. Not sure I can convince DH to spend too much, especially since we'll be car shopping soon.

I just spent like an hour researching "travel potties" because Em finally started using the big potty at home (as opposed to her potty seat). So I'm hoping we can get her to use the potty while we're out because she'll freak out until we take her home to potty.

ourcrazynavylife we have a foldable one that just fits on top of the toilet and DD really likes it. It's nice since it fits in the bag. I got it on Amazon

raven congrats on the house. We had the same snow storm last week. Wednesday it was 70 and then on Thursday we got 8 inches in 3 hours.

Ugh, you guys make me fear snow is coming my way. Today was up in the 60's again and it's been raining all evening.

Dh pissed me off tonight. He gets home late on tuesdays and called me on his way home to make him a specific dinner plate. I have both boys crying in the kitchen waiting for my attention. Then he gets home and starts giving leo everything he's asking for even tho I told him he had dinner plus more dinner plus snacks plus so much more. I hate when he contradicts me to Leo. /rant

Good thing is I left him in charge of bedtime and Leo hasn't stormed out of the room yet. I can hear dh snoring. Not sure if I should go check and see if Leo is actually sleeping.

I need a beer and we have none.

Just a check in from over here. Hi! I haven't heard anything from CO, of course, so I've officially written it off. It's super disappointing and a lesson in getting my hopes up. Womp womp. Everything works out the way it's supposed to I guess.
We have LO's school's annual fundraiser big shindig to go to this weekend so that should be fun. I rented a dress from rent the runway and got my nails done today.
At least it's Tuesday and the day is over. I hate M-F.

littlelion yeahhhhh. I have a tendency to go overboard. But it's nice that we'll be here three more years. Hopefully all the updates makes it an easy rental property when we leave.

Just popping in to say hey before I go crash into bed. We made it to Colorado all in one piece. Lo was a rock star traveler and did great on the plane. For our first flight he was completely content watching a movie on the little screen on the seat... with no sound.

We only forgot a few things- got halfway to the airport before I realized that I never restocked the diaper bag with diapers so we only had one. Parents of the year over here. The airport had an insanely over priced pack of diapers that were 2 sizes too small, but we made it work. Got to the condo and realized I only packed myself leggings and forgot jeans. At least I'll be comfortable. 😂

And we found out today we got pre-approved for our loan!!! House plans are moving forward.

nemomof2 glad baby B is treating you well with the naps. I'm sure the kiddos had fun making slime even if it didn't turn out.

What a great mail day. I got a package from my mom that included a handmade blanket + lovie from my grandma for new baby. Flash cards for DD. A cute outfit for both of them. And Lindt chocolate & little Debbie cakes for me. Hahaha
