Noob Question re: Charts after Mirena

TLDR: is this doc-worthy?

I had Mirena surgically removed on Jan 8.  I know cycles can be a little wonky after removal.  I also know I was "ready to O" around Jan 5 because I had my consultation & ultrasound, and the tech said I was going to O at any moment. (She does the IF monitoring ultrasounds, so she was probably right).

I had what I thought was a wimpy 2-day extremely light period on Jan 18, which sounds about right for O/LP.

Now I'm on 16 DPO/CD 31.  It sounds dumb but I don't even know if Jan 18 counted as a period (I only needed a liner barely; I mostly changed it during the day for hygiene and not out of period necessity).  The doc said to call if I don't get a period within 30 days (not 60) and its HPT -.  I don't want to schedule an unnecessary appt.  It DOES look like I O'ed so I'm thinking I should just wait.  Ideas?

That chart looks accurate. I have heard that after Mirena flows can change. If it was red flow and you needed a liner then I'd call it my period. Did you have sex in the fertile window indicated on your chart?

As indicated by O on the chart, yes.  O-1 and O.  I'm pretty sure the HPT - is accurate; it didn't look anov to me and that itty bitty period threw me off.

With CD 17 = O, then sex was O-2, O-3.

That was my original thought!  The OPK +x3, then the neg was confusing.  Its been a while since I charted; I probably should have kept up with the OPK.

Fail. I'm not sure how I missed the BD line the first time I looked at your chart. I looked for it for a while. It's apparently too early for treble.

Oh yeah I tested, its neg; I just started questioning the "wimpy period" last month and started wondering how long it had been, ie 30 days +.  I guess it counts as a period, so on to next cycle!

I think I needed more coffee before tackling this one. I am just now realizing that this is the chart from before the "wimpy period" and you are asking if it was a period. I suck.  Nope. I'm still wrong.

Agree that CD17 is the more likely o date. FF is sticking with CD14 because you entered ewcm on CD13. I think you are 14 dpo.

I also agree with this. I think you will know very soon one way or the other.

I had light periods with Mirena and for the first cycle it was out. Each cycle got heavier and heavier until it was "normal" (for me, anyway) again.

I don't have anything to add about the chart but I will say that my few cycles after my Mirena was removed were really light. They were all over the place for a while then over the last few months they leveled out to a pretty 'standard' Heavy, Med, Light, Light, almost like clockwork. Before I had DS my periods were always super heavy and long , very crampy, so, yea, I'm not going to complain about them now

OK this is good to know.  Everyone I have talked to has said it was a heavy flow for a few cycles, so I'm glad you gave me that info. thechickencoop, you too, great thanks!  I was just going on the fact that I needed a pad (however little I needed it) and estimating O/LP from the ultrasound.  I'm on track!  I'm happy to know it!
