It was probably day 4 or 5. I know it was a while. My fear of it is always the reason it takes so long lol. Like I sit and then my body freaks out and I can't. Each time.
Instead of taking 2 stool softeners I take 1 softener with 1 Senna Laxative pill. Takes my choice out of it and makes things really comfortable and not at all as painful as I'm always anticipating. Even now I'm taking 1 Senna Laxative pill in the evening because of my hemorrhoid. It works amazing. I wish I had known about it when I was pregnant and super constipated.
Ss here, too. A few couple hours post birth. It was actually pretty easy since it was pretty, uh, soft. It hasn't been any different since then, either.

I think I was at about a week postpartum. I was terrified of pooping because I have second degree tears in three places. So I waited until the poop was so ready to come out there was basically no pushing involved.
The psychological barrier was harder than the physical. By a lot.
With my first I was 3 days pp when it happened but now I am 4 days out with nothing so I'm getting nervous.
I have taken 2 Colace and a miralax dose EVERY DAY at this point. I'm just like.....where is the poop? I'm both scared and confused.
I did clear out before delivery with lots of diarrhea but still.....maybe soon. I have a 2nd degree tear so I don't want it to get too big or drastic or anything.... I will try the sitz bath idea!
Close to a week. The med staff kept trying to givexme col.ace, which have me awful cramps the one time I tried it. Mir.alax for several days running was much gentler.

I was home so it was day 3 or 4 and it was a doozy. I had been taking colace in the hospital and at home. I had felt it coming for days but had to wait until it was basically ready to fall out since I didn't want to push with my tears.
Mine was 3 days pp. I was terrified based on my experience the first time but it was actually not bad at all this time. I was diligent with the colace and drank a TON of water and think that helped.

I'm laughing because hilarious but also crying because this was me exactly.
Just pooped for the first time at 5 days pp. Uncomfortable, but tolerable. Lol. I was terrified. Thank you God for Colace and Miralax and endless amounts of water.
