amshark I think going a little stir crazy is quite normal in your circumstances. Sorry you feel like your time is split between communities. I don't have an account over there anymore but I still lurk while not logged in. I am sorry it's hard to find those to relate to since we aren't in your position.
And really, don't worry about the FTM check in! If you do it, great, if not, we understand. Someone else probably needs to pick that up anyway.
Sorry, I haven't been posting. Thursday & Friday were just busy days as far as work emails & web conferences. And then I took the weekend off from the internet. Well - not really. I took the weekend off from all internet outside of HBO Go. And I made really good progress on my knitting - so there's that.
I have been in a bit of a funk recently. It's sunnier out today then its been, so hopefully, that will help. It's totally snowing, but it is pretty bright outside. Weather means nothing to me at this point, other than the amount of light it lets in my windows, and how long it might take DH to get here in an emergency.
I'm getting my 30w steroid shots starting tomorrow (2 shots, 25 hours apart) - so, maybe that will get me out of this funk too.
Anywho, I'm working on a better mood this week - which can totally be accomplished with a little effort on my part.
I'm sorry you've been feeling isolated. I'm so excited that you're hitting the 30 week mark tomorrow and getting your shots! This is great news. You've been doing such a great job!
I can imagine that you are in a bit of a funk right now. What you are doing is not easy. You are really doing an incredible thing for your babies - it's a gift they will never be able to repay but honestly i doubt you'll ever expect any form of "repayment". Once you see their little faces...hear their cries...it will make this all worth it. Keep up the incredible job, mama.
And I'd love to take a shot w you. Just thinking of how close a glass of wine is in my future...that's the only thing keeping me going these days.
It doesn't sound strange, so much as it sounds like we're at a bar, with a lemon in one hand, and a shot glass in the other.
Omfg, I could totally do shots right now.
Glad things are going well and ALMOST to 30 weeks!!!!! That's amazing. Do you want to hand off that check in?
Maybe it is time to hand it off. ginnyjones82 volunteered to take over, but she's new to the thread, and wanted to see it fun a few times first, to get a better idea of what's involved. So, I'm thinking I should run a few more, and then bow out. I'm just a class A foot dragger right now.
