Absolutely nothing going on today. It's windy again, so no walk for us today. I thought of going to the store for some soup for lunch, but I made a small batch of creamy tomato basil instead. Good thing I had everything on hand, and it's super easy. I figured that was good enough, so I'm having Cheetos with it.
I'm having a super emotional day for some reason. I feel sad, but I have no reason to be sad. Oh, hormones. You so wacky.
DD was over 8 lbs when born at 41 wks. I'm 5'7 and was 7 lb (and something) when born (almost 42 weeks) and DH is 6'6 and was 9 lb (and something) when born. His sister was over 10 lbs at birth. I knew what I was getting into beforehand. I have small hips, and worried about that with DD when she was born.
I want to nap and eat chocolate cake for breakfast and I get cranky after lunch because I'm so tired. I just want to paint and not wear pants and have someone cook for me. Also I want bubble baths.

With our first we ended up putting a screen door on the nursery to keep the animals out. You can get them for like $20 at lowes/Home Depot and their easy to install.
We got an extra tall baby gate with ours and our cats never attempted to jump over it.
They also initially thought the crib was a cozy sleep place we had bought for them.
Re peeing your pants. Yup. Pretty much 75% of the time I sneeze I pee at least a little. Glamorous indeed.
Re baby size. At my growth us last Friday said baby was 5# something, or the 59th %ile. I never had a growth scan with dd, but when I was in labor the first doc on said, after feeling her head, that I had "a big baby in there! Maybe even 10 pounds!" Yeah, she was 6 lb 7 oz, like all babies in my family. I don't think they ever have a clue until baby is out.
Had my weekly BPP today. Baby looked good, and my BPs are relatively behaving.
I'm freaking exhausted though. Baby is now head down, and my vag can tell. Owe. I had acupuncture today and I'm hoping it helps, because standing and walking is awful. I really can't imagine 6 more weeks of being pregnant. This baby can definitely make an appearance at any time after 38 weeks.

I really wish I had another appointment between now and 36 weeks to see if baby moves head down. I worry it may be too late to fix it at that point. :/
<- chased baby with an ice pack to get him to go head down. Now, if he'll just stay...
They couldn't be certain if baby was breech or head down at my last appointment, so I'm hesitant to try to move him/her if s/he could already be in the right position. Right at this second, s/he is transverse, but I'm not sure which side is head and which side is butt.

I spoke with my midwives a few minutes ago and they told me to keep up with spinning babies because while I felt him flip last night, I'm not 100% certain he's still head down at the moment.
The cold pack was on the top of my belly.. he didn't like having a cold head!
I had my 7th US on Tuesday and baby's kidneys are finally cleared up, thank goodness!! Baby is also measuring large, already 5 pounds 6 ounces which is the exact size my nephew was when he was born at 40 weeks. Dr informed me apparently I have 2 due dates that I didn't know about, one being 2 weeks earlier than the one we've been following. So there's that. So now they tell me to expect baby 2 weeks early, Mid April instead of end. Yikes!

thenewkmr, nice that you get to meet baby sooner, but it would have been nice maybe a month ago to know that you might want to have everything ready 2 weeks sooner! That is, if you're like me and are operating on a timeline of having X things done by X weeks.
