I finally have an appointment today! Feels like it has been forever, and I actually have a few questions to ask. I think I'll also be scheduling my glucose test for next week. Yuck.
Boring appointment. I go back in a month for my growth ultrasound and I can go any time in the next few weeks for my glucose test. Joy.
She said the weird muscle spasms must be my ligaments being over sensitive and to just keep drinking a ton of water and don't let people touch my belly. Doctors orders, people! I hope MIL will tell her family that before I see them all because they're super overwhelming stomach grabbers and I will not be able to handle it.

When I was pregnant with DS1, I loathed anybody touching the belly. Before I flew to Miami for my shower, I told my sister to make sure everyone knew not to touch the belly or I would flip the eff out on them. I just really don't like it. It's weird. I mean, I don't walk up to anyone and just lay hands on any body part, what makes you think it's any different for a pregnant woman?

I totally agree. So now I'm happy that I can say "oh sorry, doctor said," because obviously people are rude enough to touch it even when you tell them it makes you uncomfortable. UGH.
Had my MW appointment (21 weeks!), measuring on track and heard the HB. I declined the glucose test after talking with my MW since I'm low risk. I'm up basically 16 lb which is less than last pregnancy so yay eating a bit healthier/chasing a kiddo.
On belly touching - if you ask first I'll probably say yes, but don't assume.

This is so weird to me. Like, do people not have manners?? I love a cute pregnant belly just as much as the next person but I've NEVER just reached out and inappropriately touched someone. I'm glad you have an excuse to make them leave you alone! (Not that you should need one though!)
I had a follow up appt with my MW today since my A/S was at another office. Turns out I have an anterior placenta. No wonder I never feel this kid move!

AP is the worst. I'm definitely feeling him move more now, but still not tons. Freaks me out!

Belly rubbing: no thank you. If the baby is moving and I approve of you to touch my belly that's okay, but reaching out and doing it yourself is a big no.

I just don't get it. What do people get out of it unless they can feel the baby move? Like... it's skin. Stretched out skin.

I had an ap last pregnancy and this one. It is kinda depressing. However in no time you will be feeling lots of strong movements.
Hi ladies, just got back from 9 days in Hawaii!! It was magical but now I get to look forward to my anatomy scan on Friday. Super excited to see my little man. Hoping for some better ultrasound pics then last time when he wouldn't sit still.
Had my AS today and it went great! Little girl was wiggling like mad, but they got the measurements they needed. It was hard to get a very good look at her but what we did see she looks a lot like ds but more like me than he does. so happy to see she's healthy in there! I have anterior placenta too, so movements are few and far between right now
Did my glucose test today and another u/s to look at baby boy's heart. He looks great and we finally saw a penis for the first time on u/s, we did M21 so no doubts but still reassuring to see. I still have a marginal previa so another scan in 4 weeks to check that.
