1. Carpet gets installed today! 2. I don't remember what the rules are for breast milk... Can I freeze, thaw in fridge, then refreeze? I didn't have the baby last week, so I refroze her milk... I'm hoping that's ok??? 3. We are going swimming at the Y tonight. DD has been asking to go swimming for a week or so. 4. I got good sleep last night. I needed it.

Fun day! So the milk was already frozen then thawed to room temp? I feel like you shouldn't refreeze after being thawed, here's a Kelly mom link: kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/milkstorage/milkstorage/ I'm sure someone else has some info.

No, I thawed it in the fridge, so it stayed cold. I'll check out the link though! Forgot about kellymom.
1. I am over trolls - its like frozen 2.0 2. I hope my attorney calls me today saying I'm divorced 3. I think I need to take A to the doctor - she's displaying signs of anxiety and I'm not sure what to do or how to handle (any advice) 10. I'm off on Friday and I'm so far behind and its only Tuesday
1. March is going to fly by 2. I can't wait for next week's bachelor finale!!! I already read a spoiler so it's not even a surprise. 3. I finally think this upcoming bachelorette season will be a GOOD one. Rachel is going to be so good! 4. I took DD for her first haircut over the weekend and it's kinda mullet look... I hope it grows out in a week or two looking better

If it was still even a little slushy, I vote fine. How long was it in the fridge? Most of the "rules" are cautious. I tend to be a little more lenient with the rules. 😊

It was in there for a least a couple of days, so I don't think there was any slush. I feel like BM is pretty resilient. Lol

DD is obsessed with trolls too. But I'm ok with it. I like the movie still.
I met DH on match.com. no shame. Lol Don't feel pressured to meet someone right away though. You're going through a big change!
I would take A to the Dr and see about a referral to a therapist. It may be good for her to talk to someone outside of the situation. This is a big change for her as well.
So kellymom definitely says do not refreeze. I feel bad now.
Yeah... once it's thawed you have to use it. Or leave it in the fridge- it can stay that way 5-6 days. ETA not clear. Fridge milk that's never been frozen lasts 5-6 days in fridge. Frozen milk thawed should be used in 24 hours and not refrozen.

I think this probably has to do with the milk separating or some sort of chemical makeup of the milk once it's been frozen/thawed/refrozen, and it's not like it's spoiled now or going to make the baby sick. I'd be tempted to still use it. Maybe mix with a little in with good milk or something.

My kids are obsessed with trolls too. I like it. I play the sound track in the mornings while we get ready because it seems to perk them up a bit. We also pretend I'm a Bergen and I chase them around the house and pretend to eat them when I catch them.
mrscatfarmer13 how is the basement situation? And how's the new ish job?
Better, luckily I already had a lot if stuff in totes so only a few boxes got wet. Cleanup was still a pain though because of the dirt/sludge. My job is going good so far, I really like what everyone and the work. We're going through some org. changes and I'm not sure what this means for stability yet.

babylove518 was the BM completely thawed? If not, it's ok to refreeze. Assuming it was completely thawed and just one or two bags, I would probably still use it since it was cold the whole time. It probably lost some nutritional value going through a freeze again, but it's not like it's spoiled and going to make baby sick. I'm obviously breezy so maybe tell the mom about your mistake and see what she wants to do.

Yeah I was planning on telling her. I personally think it would be fine if I mixed with some newer, so hopefully she is fine with that. It was just 5 oz. Thanks for all the advice guys! It's amazing how quickly I forgot BM rules.

**PROUD MOMMY MOMENT**
A can't do dance any longer with Webby since she's not enrolled in preschool or daycare. They were taking volunteers to participate in the recital since they didn't have enough kids in her age group, so I said we would do it. They sent the video to us and planned to come to the house today to start teaching her. She watched the video one time last night and today when her teacher showed up at the house to see what she knew, she was blown away at the fact she had it down, step for step (perfecting her form is all we need to concentrate on)... sent me a video and everything! she doesn't think she will need to come weekly with the way A was doing. I could not be more proud of that kid if I tried at this point!!
1. My sister just chopped and highlighted my hair for me. I love having it short. 2. I tried to be productive this morning and was met with a whiny toddler. 3. Now I'm totally vegging during nap.

5. We almost had a nap time disaster. I heard her talking so I went up and she was saying "poopy". She had some poop on her hand (she stuck it in her diaper). I'm praising the toddler gods that she did not take her diaper off and make a bigger mess. 6. THE HOUSE IS DONE! The realtor is there now staging, taking pics, and putting the sign in the yard. Woohoo!
