vlagroupie, I think you could do an angled lob. IDK how low maintenance that is though.
----------------------------------- I really don't understand how a single day can move so slow.
My favorite cut / style is an angled lob. It's low maintenance and I think it looks so great when I straighten my hair (basically my curly hair is unstylable).
I thought the rain was supposed to stop by now. I had the baby all ready in the car seat to make a quick run to the grocery store. I let mh take my car today since it was in the garage and it was raining. I get out to his car in the driveway and the base isn't fucking installed grrrrr. I'm too lazy to do it myself.
Like I said, I'm lazy and it's raining and I don't feel like driving the car into the garage to do it. I just want to complain and blame H for not doing it lol.
I like the lob. I think the guy I was going to could do this. I just don't know when I'm going to get to make an appt to get my hair done....I need to make this happen soon.
Breaking my Lent rules real quick to post and run. Just want some feedback before I hang these up tonight. This is the start of my command center. Top left has days of the week in the sections - that will either be meal plan stuff or daily chores. Right is an old white board I had on hand. It will also be on of those two. Then there's a mail organizer and family calendar. I have other ideas to add someday when I find more of what I'm looking for. I'd like to do a couple of clip boards as well - one for grocery list, one for honey do list. I also want a small organizer for dry erase markers and probably coupons as well. Anyway, any thoughts on layout? Things to consider besides a toddler "helping" with the mail on his own accord?

dogmama22 - I have no additional ideas. I think anything that will help you be more organized is good enough. I'm really struggling just to keep up with my planner (and I need it, because I forget everything these days).

becole - Not sure you can say a whole lot on this, but aside from contacting Congress to express our disdain for "Trumpcare," what else can we do to make sure this bill does not pass? It's a sorry excuse for a replacement, shows how woefully out of touch with Americans Republicans are, proves once more that the GOP only care about their buddies in big business, and punishes women for being women, among other things.
dogmama22, my only advice is to hang everything with command strips so if you decide to add to it later you can rearrange easily. I think you have to start using it in your day-to-day life to know if it's going to work for you or not.

Unfortunately I am not sure what anyone can do. I don't know that the phone calls to senators are doing anything more than clogging up phone lines and keeping their offices from doing the stuff they normally do. The parties have such strong packs and vote as a pack and not toeing the line means cut off from funds. There was an article I read about being effective. Let me see if I can find it. Social media/ twitter - all that- it comes down to the American public putting up a loud fight. I keep trying to read about what they put up but I keep getting watered down versions. I don't think people are informed about the old law- STiLL. Of course people want to just close their eyes and shut their ears. So even sharing the parts of the law you want to keep would be good as well. Money talks so I'm not sure if you can find out what special interest groups are behind this push- like drug companies and insurance companies/ brokers. It's so obvious to me in my job that the people that voted for Trump are so badly in need of the health care reforms. It is very odd to hear someone bad mouthing something and wanting it to protect them at the same time. No one can win these days. The ignorance is astounding. The entitlement is astounding. We can't even get smart informed people to read their plans/ care about what is happening- much less people that have absolutely no clue. This is why you need to elect smart people and trust them do their jobs but it's just not happening at all. Lobbying has become the political ammo and both parties are listening to $ and not constituents. The economy is going to have this huge shift again. Shrink the government, then those people go and take other jobs, shifting the workforce again. Just like the green energy jobs- you lay those people off, they just have to go find employment elsewhere. It's just a big disruptive shift from what interests whoever is holding the power. Playing with the stocks, making more money for certain companies (like drugs and hospitals) so that opens more jobs within that industry. It's just a shit show right now. I can't even begin to wrap my head around it but I'm already starting to see the effects in industry trades re: layoffs.

becole - I'm so disheartened with EVERYTHING! And I know the GOP are not listening to constituents and just going where the money is. I know people are mad enough to vote them out in two years (if the steam holds and memories last), but this is so crucial right now. And everybody is so wound up with the wire tap accusations that not enough attention is being paid to this.
I'm not saying the dems are any better, but atm, they def. seem a much better option than the party of chaos over there.
Sorry to post and run x2 yesterday. Z napped for less than an hour and then partied until 10 last night. I'll post a hair pic in the PB. The command strips are genius JoBub. Starting with those!
