Morning! Lo slept until 4 am after going to bed before 7. I however woke up at 330 and have been up ever since. Why is it the handful of times lo has actually slept, I'm up all night?
Lo just got up for the day but is all smiles and happily playing by herself. I really think my magic padded room has made a difference! After the first couple of weird nights, her sleep has just gotten better and better and her mood is waaaaay better after waking. No more freaking out when she wakes up. She just gets up and wanders around. Success!
Good morning!! My mom is here for the weekend and is waking up with the baby, I should be sleeping in but woke up right at 5:30 like I normally do. At least I can lay in bed and bump or whatever we are calling this now.
Yah for magic sleep mattress squirm! Hope the party goes ok @elf828 - sounds not so exciting.
So DS drank two bottles overnight again. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do when i wean him from bottles. Anyone have any experience? Am I going to have to sleep train?

Morning ladies I've made the switch! I had an awful night of both DH and DS sick. Lots of vomit yay! It sounds like some of you are having a rough night too. Ugh! Supposed to visit my new little nephew today. I wanted newborn snuggles. Maybe I'll go myself.
@elf not that you haven't thought of this, but do you think she's coming down with something? LOs sleep and a appetite seem to be impacted first when she's getting sick.
DS has a fever and is a snot monster so we won't be going to that Bday party after all. I would really love a holiday or holiday weekend that didn't involve one of us being sick. At least I don't have to put real pants on today.
((Hugs)) to the mamas with early and frequent wakeups. This is just a phase and shall pass. This is just a phase and shall pass. This is just a phase and shall pass. I need to get that tattooed on my forehead or arm for the number of times I've said that to myself.
@elf828 I hope the party tonight is at least a little fun, and maybe DH will let you grab a nap?
I have a job interview on Monday for a position that sounds perfect on paper. They have a retail location in addition to their administrative office (I'm in marketing) so I am going on a stealth mission today to analyze their in store branding efforts for more talking points. It's a panel interview so I hope I don't run into anyone I'm interviewing with!

This. DS was off yesterday and I couldn't put my finger on what it was, and now he's got something. I hope that's not the case, though.
Hi! We're up. LO was up at 545 for a snack and never really went back to sleep. So at 7, I just called it quits. Not sure how I drew the short straw here, but DH has a man cough (similar to the one I've had for a week but worse because man) so he probably needs the extra rest more than I do. Part of me knows I have to be the one to get up on the weekends, but the other part of me wants to be pretty hands off on the weekends to let DH take the reigns.
Does anyone else use pampers baby dry extra protection? We use those for overnight, and when I did the diaper change this morning I noticed what looked like blue stains on lo's bum. I'm wondering if the blue part of the diaper could have stained his skin? Anyone else have this issue ever? I
Morning ladies! Just popping in before the day really starts for us (because I know randoms will be too long by the time I'm back on!).
Today is lo's first ride on my parents' boat! rondackhiker I think you're the one who helped me understand a lot more about water/boating safety last summer? Anyway, her life vest is ready to go, and I had a good talk with DH last night about how LO needs to stay in the cabin when underway (it's big and carpeted with lots of windows--pretty good deal!) and how she has to keep her life vest on whenever on board. He is totally in agreement and went so far as to say "if the F14 girls tell you that's what's safe, that's what we'll do!"

Good morning! L woke up at 1230 last night and wanted no part in her crib. I was too exhausted to fight it so I slept with her foot in my rib cage in the bed. She woke me up at 630 this morning and signed for milk, then signed for more, then started grinding her teeth (can't even handle that at all, much less this early), so I moved her to her crib where she is now happily playing and grinding. I think she's got something because her cough is horrible this morning and the green goblins are back in her nose. Don't know if we will make A's birthday party, djtippietoes. Will assess later this morning.
Shellbell, we use the pampers baby dry extra and i've never had blue on the bum :/
I'm so jealous of everyone's three day weekends. My company only gives the bare essential days off i.e., christmas, thanksgiving, etc.
DS woke up at 6am and I was fully expecting him to be up for the day as that's about when we normally wake up. HOWEVER after he nursed he looked sleepy and I rocked him and he passed out! It's 7:45, DS and DH are still sleeping, for the first time in forever I'm enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the news in peace. AMEN it's a miracle!

When I was falling asleep last night I thought of LaurLaurLaur and worried she doesn't know where we are. Too creepy? LMK.
Apparently I was super out of it at 8:30 when my DH tried letting me know he was running up town for something. LO sleeps like never but still weird he couldn't wake me at 8:30!

kella0708 I was one thinking LO has night terrors. I don't know if that's what they are for sure. His 1 year appt is soon and I will bring it up then. He still wakes up hysterically crying several times a night but he doesn't seem as "out of it" and impossible to console so I'm not really sure.
I'm sorry you had something similar though. It's awful seeing LO like that!

Not too creepy. Just the right amount. We need Laur. If she doesn't show up in the next few days, I'll FB her. But it's pretty clear from tb f14 where we are.
How come every time LO shares her cooties, I get it ten times worse? You know it's not going to be a good day when you have to Google pharmacy hours from bed. Meh.
