Happy Tuesday! After a few difficult bed times and frustrating wakeups we finally had a good night. C fell asleep around 10, woke up about 4, and was back asleep by a little after 5. I I've given up on her wakeups being any shorter than an hour, but at least there was no screaming, it just took her a long time to fall back asleep.
We are going to lactation circle today to see (once again) if we can get a good weighted feed on her. Maybe she won't fall asleep again this week. She's gaining well and I have no doubt that my supply is there now so at this point it's just curiosity. Tonight my midwives start a month long mother care class. It's from 7-9, with babies. I think that's a stupid time, and it will probably make bed time a total shit show
H has had a cold for going on a week now. It doesn't seem to bother him to much except he's really congested at night and in the mornings. That said he's still sleeping well once he's settled so maybe it sounds worse than it is.
We leave for our trip home in a week and I have so much to do. The logistics of packing us for 3 weeks of British spring time is hurting my head - often 4 seasons in 1 day. And working out what I need to survive the airport and the 12 hr flight with 2 LOs is hard. We've done this joueney once with DS1 when he was 15mo old and pretty easy but I think it'll be harder this time. I need to get organized - anyone have any travel survival tips?

From what I've heard, travel with an infant is pretty easy. We were planning to go to Florida for my cousins wedding in a few weeks, but I think it's just not in the budget and she was super understanding. Anyhow, I was offered the advice to nurse on takeoff and landing for their ears. Between that I think the baby will actually enjoy the white noise and cuddles of a flight. Can't help you with toddler energy, hopefully one of the other ladies can.
I feel productive! W slept from 11-7 and DS1 woke up annoy the same time so I fed everyone, emptied and refilled the dishwasher, made chocolate banana muffins, and now I'm catching up on the latest Bachelor episode.
Do you change poops as soon as they happen (if possible) every time? Like even if your kid just fell asleep and you plan on waking/changing in an hour to run errands?

...asking for a friend 😑
Honestly, in that case I'd probably wait. Unless your friends baby is prone to diaper rash/have very sensitive skin.
I've been productive and spent quality time with ds and it's only noon. This day is dragging! He went down for his nap early so I'm kind of terrified of this afternoon.
I've got dd in the k'tan for the first time so I can continue to get some stuff done. So far she seems to like it!
I went into work today so my coworkers could meet B. It was a successful trip and now I'm at my parents hanging out with them and my brother. I also found out what our bonuses this year would be - and they're really good! I'm looking forward to splurging and buying myself something nice as a reward.

I had a few interviews with nannies this morning over the phone. None of them went well but I had two good interviews yesterday. There are some days E is up all day today is one of those days where she is sleeping a lot.
"My friends" baby ended up waking up not long after the poop, so the question was moot anyhow. She then slept through most of lactation circle as per usual because she hasn't napped all day. She's asleep in the car seat right now, I might leave her there because she definitely needs the nap.
I have a sleeping baby on me and we need to do bath time for DS1. W napped for 3 hours in his crib today so maybe we will have success if I put him in there now.
Guys, W is officially in 3-6 month clothes and I'm debating switching up to size 2 diapers.
This is me too. We def need to move up to the 2s, just been trying to use up the last of the 1s. and sadly some of the 3 Month outfits are already tight.
Naturally the night before I have to go into work would be a great night for the baby to wake up after 3 hrs. Ugh she normally doesn't wake up until 2 or 3 so 1230 wake up is not cool. Hoping she'll do a long stretch once she goes back down.

We switched to 0-3 right before she turned six weeks and we'll be in them and size 1s for a while still. I think. DS was a peanut and stayed in 0-3 forever and was hardly in 3-6 then stayed in 6-9 forever
