I feel like I get bigger everyday. It doesn't help that I've had 4 people in 2 days ask when I'm due/how much longer do I have. When I told one lady I have about 11 weeks left she said ohh reeeally?? I have a growth scan sonogram on Friday and I'm slightly worried I'm going to have huge baby in there lol
Ahh yes I'm feeling bigger and bigger too txcatlady. H went to the deli last night and said he was getting stuff for his "super pregnant wife at home". The lady asked him when I was due and he said may and the lady was like "oh that's not super pregnant". When H told me that, I'm like "well I sure as hell feel super pregnant". Huge lol. I feel huge!
today I learned that it is not a good idea to try and "run" (waddle quickly) your kindergartner into school while holding your 30+ lb toddler that is potty training because she tells you she has to go poopy.....my pelvis is not happy...thankfully the office staff was great and let me use the staff bathroom....for a toddler that didn't have to poop after all
H just got home a half hour ago from his quick business trip so as soon as DS wakes up, daddy is officially on the clock! I'm laying in bed because I feel off but I can't place my finger on what feels off. I just got to third tri on Sunday and it's hit me like a wall of bricks. May 28 feels like a lifetime away 😐
My indigestion is back with a vengeance. I got it last night and now again today. Boo.
MH mentioned my horrible indigestion to his co-worker and she recommended Gaviscon. She said she tried everything when she was pregnant and that actually helped. I think I'll pick some up because this indigestion is killer. I now feel like I have a weight sitting on my chest because of it.

I met the ob for the first time today. I liked her a lot and she said from now on, my appts will be with her since she'll be doing the c-section. I'm researching gentle c-section options because she said they offer it and how "gentle" I want it to be is completely up to me. I definitely know I want to do skin-to-skin immediately after, which is something I missed out on with DD.

Sorry about the indigestion and size comments! So far the only person who told me I'm huge is my mother and she has such screwed up size images! I was like someone else just told me I look tiny! Lol.
Today has been a day of appointments, pedicure, wax, and now chiropractor. Omg at my wax though when I had to pull me legs back while laying on my back (tmi but if you're having trouble picturing it's to access the butt crack lol) I got super short of breath and overheated. It was crazy! My waxer is amazing and is super quick but even for less than 5 minutes I thought I was dying. 2 more waxes before I'm due puts everything into perspective lol. FX I can survive them once I'm bigger since I'm pretty hooked and have been going every 5 weeks for years!
Ugh my chiropractor is now 20 minutes late and I think there are still people ahead of me! If she wasn't so good for pre-natal I would totally not put up with this lack of time management. It's so frustrating!

I used gaviscon during prior pregnancy and found it much more helpful @sleeymonkey
...sounds like a great appointment today too!! I need to do some more research about gentle induction since there is a strong change of heading that way again....
rosesquared my chiro occasionally runs late like that... it's usually because he squeezed in someone who desperately needed an appointment. Maybe that's the case for you?
I'm feeling big too. I now have to be aware of what's on the counter in front of me when reaching into cabinets lest I knock over things. Also I turned around in the kitchen today and "Mommy, you knocked me over!!!" "Sorry kiddo, Mommy's belly is getting bigger." At least kiddo found that funny enough that he stopped being upset pretty quickly and started laughing.
On the other hand, I don't actually look all that big apparently. No one believes that I'm 7 months pregnant (due in early May), my belly barely extends past my breasts, and I'm still sleeping on my stomach. So on the plus side, I don't have to deal with the "huge" size comments (except from kiddo). On the other hand, I do have to hear, "You're so small!" over and over again. Really, why do people comment on size? Can't people just say, "you look wonderful" and leave it at that?

jennyelf, I'm where you are. Even the nurse at the ob's office today said "you're so small for 31 1/2 weeks!" She proceeded to tell me I'm lucky but I said that I want to actually look noticeably pregnant, especially since I feel every bit 31 1/2 weeks at this point. Every time I drop something on the floor, I have an internal dialog with myself about whether it's worth picking up. Bending over has become quite the task lately.
My random is way TMI but if I can help someone out, then I guess I will embarrass myself If you aren't as regular as you once were, get Stretch Island fruit leathers, I bought a bunch off of amazon. Eat 2 a day, and you are good to go!
I think it is odd that people feel the need to comment on size. Most of it seems to come down to your torso size anyhow. My SIL has a long torso, and she always looked a lot smaller compared to other pregnant women at that week she was in. Her babies were always around 8lbs.
If I keep getting told I'm going to have a baby any day now, I may not be able to refrain from punching someone much longer. I do not want a preemie if possible. K? Thanks

The ob's office just called to tell me that they rescheduled my RCS to Mon 5/1 because they realized that Fri 4/28 was a day too early. I pointed out that it was a day before 39w at my appt today and the ob didn't say anything about it so I assumed it was staying. I'm happy because it's better for me based on how my maternity leave works and it also gives me the weekend before to "prepare" rather than working up to the day before.
I'm working on my filling orders for my embroidery business and it always takes longer than I plan. And in between those I am working on baby's corner in our room. Now that I have decided to do it I want it to be all set up now even though I am still a good two months from my due date. Not sure why I'm in a rush but I guess I should do things while I still have the energy.
sleepymonkey omg yes to bending over. There are so many noises that happen when I have to do it. Apparently C picked up on it and is now also making noises when she bends over or gets up or down.
loubug I'm the same way with wanting to get everything done. Once my vanity was out of the room I was like ok this needs to happen now then. Unfinished rooms make me twitchy.

I think that's it, the unfinished aspect. I want it be all set up now that I've got the ideas in my head. I put some pics in the nursery thread of what I have done so far.
+1 for feeling huge and uncomfortable. I've used DS to pick things up of the floor alot lately.
I've left work early two days in a row to come home and nap. Thankfully the snow storm we got has made things quiet as hell but I'm hoping to have a bit more energy so I can make it through the rest of the month working.
tortor4 my DS is doing the same haha! Every time he gets up off the floor now he goes "oooof!" 😂
Mine too! This morning DS turned on the little portable massager I use on the couch and said "my back hurts" and sat there for a few minutes getting a massage. They are too funny.
Hey all. I keep going days without coming on here and honestly it's because I have like ZERO ENERGY by mid-afternoon. My indigestion is also back, I'm feeling huge and wondering how I can possibly continue to grow for like 7 more weeks, and if it weren't for my miracle juice I'd be constipated all the time. Raw ginger is apparently the best laxative ever, especially since other suggestions like colace and prune juice weren't helping at all. Ugh!

lastkiss, I left work early today too! I tried to sleep, but was unsuccessful.
I'm in the same place of apparently not looking like I'm 7 months pregnant and when people find out it's twins, they freak out. They're usually nice about it, but it's happened every day the last two weeks at work. I feel like there's no room for anything.
One of my coworkers is really excited about the twins. She's sweet and always asks about my appointments when I'm in late or leaving early to get to one. She asked me today if I was okay because I was breathing loud. I was mortified, and after telling her I was fine and that's just how I'm breathing these days, she was too.
