Hello hello!

Hi ladies! I recognize several of you from TFAS, and I'm so excited to join you. I got the faintest of BFPs this morning at 8DPO with a FRER. My EDD is Nov. 23 based on LMP, which makes me 2w+6d pregnant. Is that even a thing?!

I'm a scientist-turned-SAHM, and I have a 2.5 yo DS. I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum (extreme vomiting) in my first pregnancy, so I'm unfortunately expecting more of the same. It will be much more interesting this time with my VERY active DS to take care of.

I got an 8dpo BFP too that slated me for 3+1, which just seemed so crazy. You're super early!

With DS I wasn't keeping track of LMP or anything really. I called my OB after I got my BFP and had an appointment 2 weeks later. They dated me at about 4w6d, there wasn't even a heartbeat yet(which was nerve wracking). I came back two weeks after that and everything looked great. Some of us are early birds, I guess!

3+1 is just as crazy early! It's kind of amazing to live in a time when you can find out so early!

Wow! you found out so early too... I bet that was shocking!!

We may have discussed this on GKU but what type of scientist were you? I'm a scientist, too, but in a hospital lab, which isnt something most people think of when they hear scientist.

I'm an environmental scientist. I bet working in a hospital lab is super interesting! I sometimes wish I had gone into more of a medical research field (but I never wanted to be a physician!)

That is super early too! I've never temped or used opks, but based on CM and now two pregnancies with early BFPs, I think I ovulate around CD13.
