I've been kind of MIA for a few weeks with being sick and busy. I swear I'm on my 5th respiratory infection in so many months or less. I can't wait to have my immune system back bc I never get sick! This morning was slower at work but the afternoon looks busy. Super ready for the weekend.
I had my 28 week appt Tuesday and passed my GTT. I was super anxious about it since I failed my 1 hr with dd then passed the 3 hr, but no 3 hr this time which is exciting.
Dd has her 3 year pictures tomorrow. I'm not sure how that happened. Time just goes so quickly. But I've been sitting over lunch wondering what shoes I'm going to put with one of her outfits and that I probably should have figured this out sooner....oops. And my mom sent me pictures of dd's painted nails this morning so going to have to remove that tonight....
I had my rhogam shot today too and will get my tdap at the next appointment.
H is working a 16 hour shift again today so it's just me and C tonight. I'm ok with it though because there's a bunch of makeup I want to buy so bring on the overtime lol.
Today has been a much better day than yesterday. My hormones have been behaving themselves and the kids have been in great moods. We are on the road to my parents house. DH and I will stay the weekend and then come home Sun but the kids will stay for the rest of the week. Looking forward to that!! My to do list is about 10 miles long though.
Haven't been keeping up here lately. Been really busy and just more tired. Getting a lot done around our house though so that feels good. We just found out that one of our cats has a type of liver disease caused by a fatty liver due to not eating. We have to force feed him to see if that will help improve his condition, but they aren't sure how severe it is so it's wait a see how the next few days go. I feel so bad for not realizing he hadn't been eating. We had only brought him in to get his hair cut (at the vet), not because he was sick, so o guess it's good we did bring him.
had a routine MW appointment this morning....everything looks good and got the packet for birth plan, etc....measuring on track for turning 32 weeks.....I reminded DH about our MFM appointment Tuesday....it was around 34 weeks with DD2 that I found out about some issues by myself so I want to make sure I have back-up even though I've been reassured that I don't need to worry.
Now I'm trying to decide if I want to be an awesome Mom and take DD1 and 2 to movie night at school....or just be an okay Mom and let them watch a movie at home....I'm thinking I will settle with just being okay this week since I was the awesome kind last week and took them to multicultural night by myself ;-)
nikonine, oh no, I hope your cat improves soon. Do you know why he wasn't eating in the first place?
Thanks, we aren't sure. We didn't even realize he wasn't eating (we have 2 cats, so hard to tell whose eating what), but he had apparently lost 2-3 pounds since last time he was in. I've seen him eating here and there, but obviously must not have been much recently.
Anyone else finding showering and getting ready for the day just exhausting?
So glad it's Friday. I took the day off and am getting my hair done right now.
Not so much the showering, but shaving is a workout at this point....for me it's after work that gets me. By the time DD is in bed and it's time to cook dinner, I have no steam left.
Had my OB appt and sono growth scan today. Baby is measuring about a week ahead and is about 3 lbs. baby flipped to head down which is probably why I'm feeling very large these past few days.
Had a yummy lunch with DH and my breast pump was delivered today🙂 Just need to call Graco and see if I can get a replacement seat pad for our hand me down high hair and maybe take a nap this afternoon
I'm WFH again today (did yesterday) bc DS gave me a really nasty head cold/sinus thing. I finally broke down and took mucinex even though I hate taking meds while preg. DH has somewhere to be tonight and I am not looking forward to handling dinner on the solo, since I feel like butt.
Anyway, enough complaining from me. Happy Friday everyone!!

I desperately need a haircut. It's so long and heavy (for me). I'm trying to time it just right so that the cut is still relatively fresh when baby boy arrives.
Edit to add: I hope you got to relax while getting your hair done!

Hi friends! I'm sick with some kind of cold which is annoying. I've been taking it pretty easy today besides some yard work. Planning on a long run tomorrow since I have a race next weekend. It probably won't go well lol. I'd like to be able to breathe through my nose. DH and I have a date night tomorrow but I have no idea what we are going to do yet.
My grandma told me today that it looked like the baby dropped. I'm like nope, if he did I'd probably be able to breathe a little better. I literally get out of breath just sitting.
I haven't gotten any shots yet. I guess I'll ask next week. I've also had a hard time keeping up, between how crazy work has been and how tired I get. My confession: I just ate a row of fig newtons.

Thanks for the kind thoughts about our cat everyone. Update- force feeding a cat is as easy and as much fun as it sounds.
Tomorrow morning I get to go visit my aunt at the vet office she works at and she's going to show me how to IV a cat to administer fluids at home. It's easy she says...ok
nikonine it's hard to get a pill into a cat, can't imagine trying to force feed....I do have a friend that had to do the IV thing and she managed it okay....good luck...hope your cat feels better and you get some good news over the next few days
