We are only expected to get 4-8 inches now because the rain line has moved closer to us. Right now the girls are playing while I clean up from making breakfast. I am planning on cleaning the bedrooms today too. Hopefully they can continue to play nicely together!
We are snowed in. The roads don't look bad. They did a great job plowing here. My neighbor (not sure who) cleared our driveway. I'm making crockpot chili now and then we are going out to play for as long as possible.
Reagan does NOT like snow and cold! She will probably go outside for 10 minutes max today. She's a beach kid. My niece is over, so they will play hard. We have craft stuff. I might put them in the tub later and just let them splash around. I have lots of red wine and tequila on tap for later!
I am at work....We only close if they threaten to fine people for driving. They are fine with us leaving early though, it would either be unpaid or my own PTO. I am leaving in about an hour. Everyone else is home. Not sure what I'm doing when I get there.

We're pretty snowed in. H is trying to plow, but the tractor battery died. He's frustrated. We have over a foot now, and it's still snowing. I'm hoping H can take F out in the snow later. Baby and I will remain inside and enjoy the view from the window. Lol
We have lots of leftovers and freezer meals - here's hoping we don't lose power!
Has anyone figured out why toddlers are crazy? A is insisting that her blankets be spread out on the floor. I spread them out, she lays down, stands up, crumples up the blankets and screechingly demands they be spread out again. I'm losing my mind!!!! JUST LEAVE THE BLANKETS ON THE FLOOR!!!

I don't belong here but just wanna say how I love that @justinslovo has a newborn plus 2 other kids and is like "ohhhhhhhhhh not doing much. Just shoveling. And baking. And cooking dinner.." and I'm over here with one toddler just like, trying to shower.
This house was not made for two adults, a dog, and a toddler to be trapped inside.
I've had 3 mental breakdowns in 3 hours. Thank god the mall across the street was open, we spent a good hour just playing around. She was still a monster. It's nap time and I just want to drown myself in pizza and candy (crying more bc no booze). Seriously, daycare is worth every damn penny!!
I am leaving work now and MIL asked MH to see if I could buy plantains and something else at the gorcery store. LOL, nope. Not stopping in the blizzard. MH already told her I would say no.

We are all just hanging out. Nick is napping right now and ryan is working from home for a little. Nick's been pretty good, lots of Sesame Street and playing with blocks and other various toys. I probably won't take him out, it's too windy. Doesn't seem worth it. No drinks here yet. Just coffee!
rayann687, DH asked me if we needed anything at Costco. I told him don't even TRY to get out of hanging out with our two very cute but damn do they ever listen children and leave me with those monsters for even a second so sit your ass down and watch Sesame Street cause you ain't going out in this blizzard!

In some ways more kids are easier. More hands to help, more eyes to see and tattle, more children to engage with one another so you can get things done.
Think duggers....just kidding because that is insanity!

This is so true!! One kid home alone wants to talk to me and touch me. All 3 kids home and it's all "mom who?"
Plus the big kids are superb tattlers. All Shenanigans are reported.
I had a few glasses of wine, and one of hubby's "fake-aritas" (limeade + tequila). Then I made this Yum yum yum. School is closed again tomorrow. So I'll be productive then. Today I really needed to lay around and be a bum!
@justinslovo that's some serious snow! We only got a little over a foot, though it did snow pretty much all day today and accumulate a few more inches. Despite the weather man saying it would be over by noon yesterday.
