Same. We have sewer and I flush. I don't carry around plastic bags to throw them in and there's no way in hell im throwing them in the trash unwrapped. I expect others to either wrap or flush due to the biohazard
I haven't thought of them as a biohazard. From what I just quickly googled (so could be wrong), it's the same level as snot or semen, and we don't put those in plastic bags to toss in the trash. I just wrap them in toilet paper and put in the garbage.
I work around a lot of biohazards and exposed blood is a no-no, no matter where it's origination is
I just found out that someone in my neighborhood called the cops with a noise complaint on another neighbor. The offense? Their kids and some friends, ages 4-8, were being too loud while they played on their swingset. At 4:30 in the afternoon. WTH is wrong with people?
I hope the police just laughed at them.
ETA: I just saw where you posted the police did laugh, stupid neighbors.
I had to call the police on my neighbor. He got so angry about my dog being near his fence that he literally stood up on his fence to yell and scream at me in front of my kids. He even started throwing large rocks at it and my 1 year old was a foot away from where he was throwing the rocks. He has clearly been boiling about my dog's proximity to his fence for quite awhile and he has never came over to say anything about it. He even told me, well screamed at me, that since he owns his house and we just rent he can say and do anything he wants and I can't do anything. He scared the crap out of me so I called the police. Then when my H confronted him, he was appalled that I called the police on him. The guy was so aggressive that I felt like I needed to. I'm scared to even take my kids in the backyard to play, which is ridiculous.

Whoaaaaa. I'd have done the same thing. Not fucking cool.
Jimmy Buffett finally released a STL tour date for this year. July 6th. I'll be 38 weeks and some change.
Curious WWPD??
I think I already have my mind made up, but humor me. Would you go see (insert favorite band/artist here) at 38 weeks pregnant? Lawn seats. In St. Louis. In July.

Whoa, leviosa, that is so scary! You have just as much right to your yard as he does, how awful. Would the owners be on your side if you contacted them?

Wow! Overreaction, much!? (Him, not you!) I'm sorry he was so aggressive to you, especially in front of your children.
Not sure if this is a UO? I read an article yesterday where the author was mind blown you don't throw your used tampon in the toilet. I thought that was obvious. Could clog up the plumbing. Plus, it's really trash, it's not going to disintegrate. She also didn't realize signs in public restrooms stating "no personal hygiene items in toilet" applied to the tampon itself, not just the applicator.
My reaction was: You are an idiot. Am I in the minority, here?
I haven't used a tampon in years, but I used to flush them when I lived at my parents house. At our house I didn't, though, because we have a septic tank. I never knew you weren't supposed to unless someone specifically stated not to.
This was me. I use to do this because no one told me not to. I am a cup user now so no need to worry, I won't be clogging pipes.

It's funny that the to flush or not to flush conversation is here, too. This was on my BMB from DD this morning, too. A lot of people there had never heard that you don't flush them, either.
I've only ever been told not to flush in homes with septic systems, but I don't want to cause plumbing issues so I will avoid it in the future.

Wow - that's scary! He needed the cops called on him, especially since he was throwing rocks near your kid. What's wrong with your dog being near his fence?

I did contact them. They were appalled as well. I asked them if it was ok if we put up a small chicken wire fence to keep my dog away from his fence. At this point I'm scared he will try to poison my dog or throw rocks at him instead of just the fence.

My moms neighbor (who use to deal drugs - idk if he still does because I don't live there) called the cops on her because my dog barks from 6-9pm when she is taking care of my grandmother. (This only started happening after my Dad died) so he has been harassing her ever since. It's taken every single bone in my body not to go up there and punch him square in the nose and tell him to go fuck off.

MH applied for 6 positions in the state we want to be in permanently, and they all went internally. We are never leaving where we are now and I legit cried over it. 😭

sleepymonkey, he doesn't want my dog peeing on his fence. Also, his dog just had surgery and our dogs have always ran up and down the fence. So instead of him keeping his dog from running he is blaming my dog for making his dog run. Before he got his privacy fence I could see when his dogs were outside and keep mine in until his dogs went inside. Now I can't see so I end up letting him out when they are out. He expects me to walk all the way out in my yard to check for his dogs. I'm just not going to do that. He also leaves his door open for his dogs to come and go from his house and they end up being outside for most of the day. He can't expect me to wait for hours to let my dog outside to pee.

I'm flying with DD on Sunday - just occurred to me that I might need to provide documentation for her at the airport? Should I bring her birth certificate? We are flying domestically on JetBlue and I purchased her a seat. Someone help me.

I'm having lots of sharp, twingy type cramps today, like all day. I'm guessing these are BH (although they feel different than the ones I've been feeling), but they're super annoying and they're making me just want to go home and lay down...boo.
