St. Patrick's day

I'm pretty lazy and it's always been too much work to make a big deal about any holiday really. But now that my kids are getting a little older I'm really wanting to make these smaller holidays fun for them. What do you all make for your St. Patrick's day meals? Any fun traditions or crafts you do?
Besides wearing green, I'm not really sure what else to do. Haha.

We are having our St. Patrick's Day feast tonight - we do boiled dinner - corned beef, daisy ham, cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots and rutabaga.

Tomorrow I would normally go visit a couple of local establishments with DD to visit our friends but since I'm knocked up and I have a cold, I am doubting that will happen.

Saturday we are going to a family and friends function at the local Elks (my nephew is a member)

We'll probably just wear green. Lol. I sometimes make corned beef and cabbage, but I'm feeling lazy this year.

I will wear green and eat lots of corned beef and boiled potatoes. My favorite is the day after st. Patrick's day- Reuben day! Mmmmm

I've never really celebrated it, as it's my birthday! It used to really bug me when I was younger 'sharing' my birthday with a holiday.

So my St Patrick's day will be spent opening presents and eating lots of food and cake!

I'm making these tacos (https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018643-irish-tacos) - cause the boiled cabbage is not my fav. I also got some fingerprints to make a leprechaun craft using a paper plate with DS. Originally I had planned to make them last week and mail them to grandparents by tomorrow, but didn't happen. Mommy brain FTW. Hopefully will remember to actually make the craft and wear green tomorrow!
