Man, I've been thinking about this all day. I feel like it's songs in movies or plays that affect me the most. "I Know Where I've Been" from Hairspray is so moving and heartbreaking to me and makes me cry.
"Vivir Mi Vida" by Marc Anthony brings happy tears of good memories
I read that as Livin La Vida Loca, and was like interesting choice I wonder what the backstory is behind that.
bex15 MH just informed me that R.ate.be.er has a thread that started yesterday called Your fave depressingly depressed songs. I wonder whose SO is checking out our threads. Lol.

You are all heartless. Not one person mentioned "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. Insta-tears.
I also love the Jeff Buckley Version of "Hallelujah". I am not totally in love with the original Leonard Cohen version but it's cool to listen to him perform it.
"All You Need is Love" by The Beatles makes me cry because of Love Actually. Ugh, can't believe I'm admitting that.
Some of my more unconventional picks include: "Love You 'Till The End" by The Pogues "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" by Flogging Molly "Gone Away" by Offspring (totally dating myself with that song) "Tuesday's Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young "America" by Simon & Garfunkel (It was my parents' wedding song and the father/daughter dance for my wedding)
Wind Beneath My Wings is my #1 culprit too! I can't even get through the first verse without my voice cracking! HA!
