And my mom lost her job today. Two weeks after her mom died. Fuck you, mom's boss.
They have very little savings and my dad is on disability and I'm not in a position to help them financially. I have no idea what to do to help. Her life is imploding.
DH went to a surgeon this afternoon about his suspected hernia. It's not a hernia so no surgery (yay), but he's still nervous it'll become something when his busy picks up.
DS1 had three poop accidents today. Daycare suggested logging his food over the next few days and seeing if anything has a pattern. I feel bad because I know they're tired of it, we're frustrated, but I just don't know what to do. Next Thursday we will definitely be talking about this with his pedi.
Oh my gosh @traceyos, how horrific. I cannot imagine. Ever since I've had kids, I have had dreams about that very thing and that we couldn't get them out. I wake up hysterical every time. Prayers for your friend and her family.
Fires terrify me. @traceyos so sorry! When I start thinking about which kid I could grab I just shut down and stop. It's better now that kids are older but there was a time they were so little I'd have to carry them all and I would have had to pick. Yikes.
Rough night volunteering. We were short staffed due to spring breaks so I had 10 kindergarteners Alone. And you have to work one on one with each one. Chaos.
Now I have a beer and am getting better. I did miss o screaming for 20 min at bedtime so at least that's a win. When will he forget about his paci?
This day has been long. I made it through all the 2t and 24month totes, separated what to sell and donate. I put away all Viv's clothes. But my blood sugar was up and down all day. It made my mood funky and wore me out.
Ella finally is getting her first canine in! It's been like two months and nothing has come through. She's been such a train wreck. DD1 was fairly low key with teeth. I'm ready for this to be over...
I'm back! Where do I pick up my Super Mom medal?!? Survived the return flight and the kiddos did even better this flight then our flight out there on Friday! It was all nerve wracking but so much easier then I ever imagined. It could've turned south a million ways but didn't and in the end, they are really the ones that deserve the medal for being so good. It was like they knew exactly what to do today after having done it Friday. So so so thankful they were just adorable little angels today!
