Thanks so much everyone. I'm kind of hoping I don't go into labor today because there's already so much going on emotionally, although it would be a great distraction.
Just a FYI - some of you ladies need to update your tickers/siggys! I always giggle when I see a ticker on another forum that says "250 weeks pregnant"
My first thought was "omg all those parking payments" when I read that your H left each night. That must have been brutal. Ajax RV was $16 or $20 a day.
Wow! I can't even imagine! Our hospital has two free parking garages, and if you are in labor or elderly and show up duirn certain hours they will valet park your car in the garage for free if you don't feel up to walking. It's amazing how many differences there are between all of our locations and experiences!
I wish! Luckily there is expectant mothers parking near the door but being able to valet park would have been so nice. Plus the free parking. But, if I were paying monthly insurance premiums and money OOP to deliver at the hospital I guess I would expect those things.
I paid $80 to upgrade my room for 2 nights and $20 for parking.

Nothing quite like being 56 weeks pregnant to keep you on your toes

Our hospital garage is paid parking and it costs as much as a garage downtown. Which is ridiculous because you can't get to the hospital via public transit and they've got lots of spaces/land. They validate your last day when you are discharged, but we paid about $100 for parking since we were there all week and DH left twice to deal with the dog and to get more clothes.
I love my mom, but I need her to stop touching my hair. I will miss her when she goes but I won't miss that.
Why is she touching your hair?? This is odd.
Various reasons - she's moving it out of the way while I hold the baby or it's her like alternative to hugging me. She's leaving early tomorrow and I can tell she has a lot of feels about it so I think the sudden increase in hair touching is related to that.

That seems like an odd interaction lol. Mine just asks every 5 minutes if I need anything to drink but wouldn't dare touch my hair.
There was a streak of her picking up random items and asking me where they go when she first arrived. Thank gawd that ended before I yelled, "Right where you found it!"
