Oh yeah, you probably won't even need Tylenol the next day. Fillings make me nervous because they're actively drilling in your mouth the whole time. Root canals just need a small hole and then it's them sticking these things in your tooth to clean it out.

sstwinklinglites hope the toothache gets better and you can get to dentist asap. Why do these things happen on the weekend when you can't get in to see someone?!?! I'm lucky I've never had a cavity, I can't imagine a root canal. I think it must be genetics bc I'm horrible about taking care of my teeth and eat all the sugar.

Right? Not only that, but will I have a pregnancy where I don't have to have an organ removed or a hole made in my mouth or something?
I brush and gargle and floss, but I haven't been to the dentist in almost four years. I'm not really scared, but I just don't go. I guess if I would have been this may have been prevented.

It doesn't sound like the worst thing. I had all four wisdom teeth removed at once, and I think at least two of them were impacted, and if I can survive that I can definitely deal with a root canal.

I'm the opposite. I don't take great care of my teeth with flossing and I don't use mouth wash but I do get a pro cleaning 2 times a year and have my entire life- never missed one. I've never had any dental work besides wisdom teeth removed. I imagine the numbing needle to be the worst part.
