Oh I forgot to post this yesterday. Had my 30 week appointment and I measure a cool 40 cm (weeks). The doctor thinks this is great, but omg I kind of want to cry because things now just ache and I can't bend or turn, like at all.

I'm trying to not snap at my child. I have a migraine and he won't stop talking this morning. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if most of it didn't start with, "Hey mommy..."

Present. Today is big bed day. H and his friends are moving around the furniture. My dad may come down if he does that means importu night out. Plus XU plays today.
The little was up a few times so that was weird. The big slept until 7:30. Which is great but I am going to try to get him down for an early nap so I can get him up by 2. We are currently waiting for the baby to wake up from a nap so we can go to the park.
So sleepy, C was up earlier than normal and of course is working on a 2 hr nap while N is up. I sent daddy and N to the gym by themselves so enjoying a few moments of silence. Can't wait to go outside with this weather!

I have the worst toothache. It started yesterday and the pain is radiating to my head and causing a headache that won't subside. And I'm one of those people that doesn't go to the dentist, so I can imagine how bad it'll be when I go in this week.
Any tips to deal with this pain while I wait to get into the dentist? Tylenol does not work.
Made a deal with H that if he takes Bub to the grocery store so I can get some cleaning done, I will take him myself after nap time and he can have some time to himself. He took me up on it, so I'm about to start frantically cleaning. Having all the windows open always helps motivate me.
sstwinklinglites sorry, no advice on the toothache. Not sure there's anything strong enough you can take while KU. I'd just try to find an emergency dentist that might have weekend hours

My dental insurance will only cover certain dentists. It's a weird HMO thing, but I'll check if they have any that are open weekends.

I could be wrong, but i think some of the big dental chains like Aspen do discounted rates for uninsured people. Kinda like chiropractors do.

That's the issue I had when I had similar symptoms. We have dhmo and so I couldn't get in until Monday. I ended up needing a root canal. The pain was so terrible and I was maxed out on Tylenol. Anyway holding ice cold stuff on the area and eating popscicles helped for for 5-30minutes at a time. GL I hope you aren't in the same pain I was.

Not sure if pregnancy safe, but gargling with water warm and epsom salt. Will reduce the swelling which is causing the pain. Hope it subsides soon!

A DHMO is what we have. My pain isn't that bad right now, but I don't want it to get to that. And I really can't afford a freaking crown or root canal right now.

I just brushed and gargled with mouthwash and feel better... but that may just be the Tylenol kicking in.

I know it depends on your plan, but my root canal was only $200. The crown is the expensive part ($600). If you need a root canal, you should be able to go a while without a crown. I had mine done in Jan and still don't have a crown on it (no time), it's been fine. Hopefully all you need is a filling. Watch out for painful spots (like a large pimple under the skin feeling) on your face around that tooth. That's pretty much a guaranteed root canal.

Def. not there. I'm hoping I just need a filling because that's 100% covered. If they tell me root canal or crown, I will straight up tell them it has to wait.

Epsom salt is safe to bathe in when pregnant so probably ok to spit out.

So none of the emergency dental places work with my insurance. I have brushed, used mouthwash, used vinegar, I have H bringing me epsom salt, and I want to rip my face off it hurts so much.
Oh, and H is having the same problem, but didn't say anything until I mentioned it last night.
vlagroupie we've started talking delivery plans - but there are lots of unknowns still so just going to go with the flow of whatever needs to happen. Basically, I'll get induced if I haven't had them already by week 38. I'd like to have them vaginally if possible - that will depend on at least A being head down, and ideally B being head down or flipping during l&d. B has been the bigger baby, so if she doesn't get to head down, I may need a C section.
We headed to Elis BBQ with some friends for dinner. We should do wine night or family night there. They have a big open grass area to bring toys and they can play and live music in the summer. BYOB and wine too.
We're trying to finalize vacation plans for May. I was thinking my mom wouldn't want to watch our dog while we were out, but asked on the off chance she would. Instead of just saying no, which I explicitly said while asking no worries and it's okay if not, she said she thought the cat would be lonely without the dog. 😐

mrscatfarmer13 - What kind of pain am I looking at with a root canal? And how long before I actually feel better from my exploding face? And how long does it take, because I have DS with me. Basically, I'm positive I'll need one with the amount of pain I'm in.

I don't think root canals are any worse than fillings. If they do the work the same day you'll get immediate relief of most of the pain. My pain was so bad that I couldn't focus on anything else before I saw the dentist, after, I still had some pain for a few days from the infection, but it was manageable.

I haven't had a filling since I was a kid, and I don't remember how uncomfortable that was. I was up most of the night in literal tears from the pain. I was working on the Sunday School curriculum and didn't even come close to finishing because all I could focus on was the pain. As long as the Tylenol become enough to control it, I'm good.
